Browne Brothers Funerals

Following the loss of my partner of 40+ years I was very glad that we had decided on pre-paid funerals. The process at such a difficult time was easy and the staff I dealt with were pleasant and helpful.

The team at Kingston Funerals were a pleasure to deal with from the outset - Sandra and Jess both demonstrated the perfect balance between professionalism and compassion as we worked in a short space of time to bring Mum's Funeral and Celebration of Life together inside a week. Their support before, during and following the formal arrangements was excellent. Our sincere thanks to all involved.

Things did not flow as they should should have. Documents weren’t completed accurately resulting in me needing to attend the office to ensure corrections were expedient and accurate. The company thought they would send the deceased to Lake Mulwala (NSW) instead of Springvale (Vic) - this may be a cost cutting practice but was not well received by me. I eventually managed to get them to use Springvale. Not a good experience.

The out of hour’s transport was an additional $440 which seems a bit expensive especially considering they are happy to transport bodies to Lake Mulwala for cremation and then transfer the ashes back to Melbourne. However, the out of hours driver was very respectful and I could not fault him.

Excellent and very divine. There is no word to describe my emotions. My father had a royal sendoff and thanks to Brown Brothers Funerals for their extraordinary compassion and providing all facilities in an excellent manner.

From the moment I spoke with Harley on the phone, I felt that Browne Brothers was the right choice for our beloved family member's funeral. They were wonderful.making it so easy to arrange the service (including the video/photo presentation, the celebrant, flowers and everything else). Brown Brothers managed my Sisters send off. From the first contact with Brown Brothers We felt at ease. Doug was Amazing. We had never been in a position to arrange a funeral. Doug was Compassionate Kind and Caring after a few Specifics Brown Brothers organised everything and Exceeded our Expectations. All in attendance complimented how lovely the service was. Browne brothers were great to deal with but Bunerong on the other hand not so good $170 dollars for a $27 dollar package via Australia post is a bit rich

I have nothing but my sincere appreciation for the professionalism and compassion exhibited by Browne Brothers in my moment of ineffable grief.
The only suggestion I have is that perhsps the Video of the actual event could have given a closer or frontal sweeping view of the attendees of that final good bye.

I would like to thank most of all Danii Reeve for her kind caring way she handled my husband funeral. We had come to Melbourne form New Zealand so he could be with his family before he passed. Danii was just Amazing and very helpful as my husband was Maori there were things we need to do and Danii understand this. Thank you so much Danii. Brown Brother's are blessed to have staff like you.

Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful, Doug, in particular, was great. He made things considerably easier and was very sincere.

Browne Brothers managed my mum's Celebration of Life service after she passed away. Nothing was too much trouble for Doug and the team. Even after the service they assisted with a couple of small requests. On behalf of my family, thank-you for your efforts.

If there are awards for rockstar funeral services then browne brothers would need a warehouse to store all of theirs in. I made an appointment to discuss my fathers future funeral arrangements, well he must've liked them because he passed the same day. One phone call to Danni later that day and everything was taken care of. All of our wishes wants and needs were meet and accomodated. The compassion and respect shown not only to my dad but the whole family was outstanding. Everyone is amazing and caring you have all made this ordeal bearable. I want to thank all of you and especially Danni. My dad was so peaceful and calm thankyou for taking such great care of him for us. Sending you all my most heartfelt gratitude and love. THANKYOU

How do you get so fortunate to be surrounded by the most compassionate people in such sad times. Thanks go to Harley for being so wonderful at a time that was so sad for our family. My husbands funeral was absolutely beautiful and Sophie Gouldson, you were an amazing celebrant. I cannot recommend Browne Brothers highly enough, just the compassion shown to us and going above and beyond to assist my family, Geoffs funeral will be talked about for a long time.
