Blairgowrie Cafe reviews
63 Waited on outdoor tables for coffee.
After some time went to counter to investigate.
Found coffee at counter,
to be told we are not delivery service.
Disappointing Experience.
Came expecting just another cafe, but this was much better. The staff were the best I’ve experienced in the hospitality industry and were extremely helpful when called upon. Honestly the best service I’ve ever had in a cafe anywhere. Highly recommend. 5/5 stars
Lovely staff, great service & out side is nice. Inside has great decour. Love this place
Fantastic place. Great staff and really good coffee. The takeaway food is good value and very tasty. Looking forward to when dine in is an option
There was music playing, happy staff behind the counter and plenty of people waiting for their order. A sign out the front advertised free soup during this current covid 19 lockdown. They're was a really good vibe and I'll go back during and after covid.
Ordered the Ferger Burger and chips. Nice buns and pattie was nicely done and flavoured. Only had lettuce, tomato, cheese and pickles, mayo.so quite basic for $19. Would like to try their other burger (with the lot). Chips were nice bit a tad too salty.
Great spot for brekie! If your hungry get the haggis and black pudding Cateran breakfast, won't dissappoint! Quick service, nice people, cosy, loved it!
We had lunch there today, Burgers were a complete disappointment, the Fish Burger named Jaws Burger was obviously pre-cooked deep fried crumbed which arrived on the table as over-cooked & dry. Simply inedible. The beef burger wasn’t much better. Shame their competitors weren’t open, we would’ve dined there in preference.
Lovely, genuine greeting by Staff. Really friendly and engaging.
Nice food, good Coffee.
Lots of Locals. (Aways a good indicator)
The best chicken burger & chips! Had been recommended & they didn't disappoint. Friendly service too (shout out to Mark) Will be back
Really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately all of us found our burgers very underwhelming. However the hot chips were good. Happy to give them another go, as lots of other good reviews.
Fantastic place for brunch on Mothers day. Excellent indoor or outdoor seating, efficient, friendly staff. The food was so good we went again rather than try somewhere else.
Great food and atmosphere very attentive, professional, friendly staff. Mark was exceptional yesterday answering lots of our questions regarding the area. Definitely recommend eating or drinking here.
Came here for the long weekend, the service was absolutely great even tho they were really busy! Our food came out fast and tasted amazing! The sausage rolls are to die for! Thank you
Had delicious mocha milkshake and toasted pulled pork panini for less than $20 in total. Staff were really friendly and cafe very cosy.
Rock solid breakfast, excellent friendly staff. Plastic water glasses perhaps the only downside.
Third time in Blairgowrie and have always been here for breakfast so we tried to mix things up and try a different place this time on the first morning and was super disappointed. Should have just eaten here both mornings!
Keep up the good work
Went to this place today. It was busy outside with nearly all tables occupied. I ordered a small coffee and an apple and walnut muffin. The older man who took my order literally barked at me for my table number, then charged me $11. My friend ordered a bacon, egg and cheese roll. He asked that there be no cheese on the roll. He was charged $10 for the roll (on special) and $10 for the milkshake.
My coffee arrived and it was good, but had to ask for the muffin. My friend's roll still had the cheese and he said it was bland. My muffin came with a smear of fresh whipped cream on the plate, but the muffin was dry and not nice.
This place overcharged for its food, the guy taking orders is not very friendly at all. Pity, my friend is moving there to live, but he won't be coming back to this cafe.
A decent cafe with a lovely outdoor sitting area. Good coffee and tasty food, standard pricing.
Generally a good cafe with a standard menu, food and prices. Our kids love the iced chocolates and the coffee isn’t too bad either. Disappointingly they don’t have table service and tap water isn’t as easy to come by as other cafes. They also forgot to bring out one of our coffees and we had to chase it up. I would come back again for the iced chocolate but I’m sure there are better options for meals.
So many things wrong with this place i don't know where to start. Everyone was very dissapointed with all the food. Virtually no table service so i'm not sure why the staff cannot clean or clear the tables. No water available anywhere, which is even more dissapointing considering there is no table service. Big venue but everybody has to pay and order for drinks, coffee and food which means long lines and longer waits. Coffee is terrible and not served in a timely manner. Management has no idea what they are doing in terms of service and the only good thing about the place is that the venue is well located next to the beach and large so you can get a table when everywhere else is busy. They're knowledge and care factor isn't high for their customer service.
