Blairgowrie Cafe reviews
63We stopped here after our walk and even though they were preparing to close they decided to serve us. We were a group of 14 people. Not only did they serve us but being on holiday for a family wedding, they even put on some Greek music were we danced along. We had a fun time and would like to thank the super staff for their patience and gratitude they showed towards us. By the way, the food was excellent! Thanks guys!
Now I understand the reason why they didn't give me a receipt after i checked the online menu;
I ordered a Salami Panini and two vanilla slices and paid $30 in total.
The online menu said vanilla slices at $5 each and Salami Panini at $12.
I was overcharged by $8.
The restaurant didn't offer hot food options except toasted Panini and there was no dine-in service
at 3: 00 pm (the closing time at 4: 00 pm)
Very disappointed with the service and wouldn’t recommend to others/friends.
Tasty panani and chips combo, they even made me a fresh one without cheese so it was vegan, super yummy food from some helpful staff.will be back after a surf again
Was decent, hot chocolate was the best part. My breakfast was the veggie one, however the tomato was essentially solid, and the eggs were microwaved and dry. Otherwise a good experience.
Bought 2 pies an sausage roll and juice $31.00. Waited 25minutes for takeaway? The pies were not warm at all. They didn't taste great either. So, not pleased with the experience
Probably best ham & cheese croissant ever had beautiful coffee and the girls very friendly;) good job! Keep it up
Very disappointed. Asked for a extra hot flat white, it was barely warm. We could only have it takeaway but was still charged $1.00 surcharge. People were still sitting there drinking and eating but we weren't allowed to. They said they were supposed to close at 3pm and it was 3.20.
Had the veggie breakfast and was delicious, good coffee and very friendly service even though it was busy.
Staff were horrendous and rude. Refused to cater to my anaphylaxis and would not remove items from my meal that would literally kill me purely because they couldn’t be bothered. Terrible experience overall
Friendly service and great menu. Just be mindful of the 10% weekend and 20% public holiday surcharge which caught me off guard. Very worth it though
Gorgeous Vegetarian breakfast and a good price for the size and quality of food.
The ingredients were amazing and fresh tasting!
The chef even brought out another egg (without us asking) because he wasn’t happy with one of the ones he cooked.
All the staff were super friendly and the place had a good vibe with quirky decor and music
100% recommend
I’d love to give a higher rating but I’m a little disappointed that the only vegan option is a bubble n squeak patty that didn’t even seem cooked on a weird dry bun. For $20? We’re just going to stick with Mr Bentley who has an amazing burger for $15.
Appreciate that there’s a veg option but please consider updating the menu, there are so many options for mock meats, so for $20 a basic potato and pea patty is not going to cut it.
Food however was ready pretty quickly which was nice.
Had lunch here fish and chips I was puzzled when they brought the order I saw the most smallest fish in the world.i was very annoyed and angry about the size of the fish absolutely appalling there was more salad and chips then the fish normal u would get one big piece. Other wise the customer service was good. I'm most displeased about the size off the fish.happened 18/03/2022 at 12pm.
I had a takeaway coffee at Blairgowrie Cafe today and it was lovely, as always. It is a great little shop that has a bit of everything and a must stop off if you are in the area.
Very nice staff and food and drinks spot on. I have stopped taking photos of our food now, suffice to say, same as on their website! Don't waste good eating time!
We love coming to this Cafe. The staff are friendly and work hard at providing great service. The coffee is consistently good and so is the food. The music great and interior decor is very interesting. Worth the wait during holiday session. They are very busy.
Honestly the best service I’ve ever had at a cafe, great food, great company. Overall great experience, highly recommend!
Was underwhelmed with the steak sandwich for $24. Over priced for over-cooked and chewy steak, was accompanied by melted cheese on a slice of chabata, a few cherry tomatoes and oddly a splash of balsamic. No side of chips or a salad leaf in sight.
Not enjoyable to eat. DNF.
Service was slow (1hr 15mins from ordering), can understand it gets busy but communication to set the expectations from the outset or during would have been appreciated and made for a better experience.
I suffered a medical episode whilst waiting for my takeaway and the staff were super attentive and understanding with me. I greatly appreciate the care and kindness they showed me. They truly went above and beyond what was expected of them. Lovely staff and service and yummy takeaway!
Very over priced for what you get. The waffles were for a 10 yr old so tiny plus my smashed avo was only on one peice of toast. Good coffee not very clean plc. I'm sure they low on staff but the food was ok but very overpriced for what you get.
