Bistro Guillaume reviews
68My partner and I came here for our anniversary in early August, and it was honestly incredible. The food was to die for, the service was impeccable, our waitress was darling. The atmosphere is mostly romantic, though if we had one tiny improvement idea, it would be for couples to somehow be able to sit side by side, as my partner and I usually do when we can. This would make it more romantic and easier to share, as we also do. Other than that, cannot fault this place. We will definitely be back time and time again.
Dined here on a couple of occasions. Each time a delight. The servers are very informed on the menu and can advise on what will suit your taste and needs perfectly. The food itself is always very fresh, tasteful and crafted perfectly with flavours always popping and indulgent. The decor is beautiful which enhances the experience and customer service is second to none. One of my favorite dining experiences at Crown.
The food was very good. The service was a Little bit slow. I think overpriced. But the restaurante is very nice
Love the food, the escargot had a nice lemon twist. The John Dory main is to die for, we enjoyed 2 bottles of the Chablis. I guess we loved that! I would recommend the smoked salmon, the cheese soufflé, the steak tartare, the lam shoulder and the creme brûlée! Our waitress was fantastic!
Not really a French restaurant, more like good Western cuisine served by French staff. Wife`s fish overcooked, pear dessert ordinary except for the chocolate sauce, venison very good, cocktails very good, french frites good. Even though staff offered extra bread, still had to ask a few times before receiving it. Where`s the beef cheek & other typically French dishes?
My Steak was dry and over cooked. My wife’s chicken was raw in the middle. Such a shame as I was really looking forward to trying this place out.
A friend took me here, surprised with the food, looks small but is quite filling. Fancy joint, very French, ordered the steak, should have gone with the chicken instead. Steak was dry, my friends chicken was superb. The desert was nice and the atmosphere was nice and calm. We went on a Sunday so felt it was nice and more intimate. Happy with the staff, very attentive.
Whilst the food was absolutely delicious and the overall decor was lovely, the staff killed the experience for me. They were quite arrogant, snobby, didn't smile and a bit rude which made me feel quite uncomfortable to be there. It was also quite hard to get their attention. Not really in a rush to come back any time soon.
