Unique place to catch live music, food was tasty and affordable if purchased as part of your ticket.

Intimate atmosphere, great layout, quality food, efficient and attentive staff. We saw Joe Chindamo on the piano and he was brilliant. Apparently the have a live stream of the performances. There are some well.placed cameras and projector screens so you can see the performers close up - really handy for the piano. Recommend a visit.

Fantastic small and intimate venue for live music, with a handy bar and food in the form of meals, or snacks.
We enjoyed out night of music at BIRD'S Basement and we will be back.

Went for Mike Stern's show. Neat and tidy place with friendly staff. My only complain is that the projection is a little out of sync with the audio. You might need to look at the projection sometimes depending on where you're sitting.

Highly recommend this place for a great night out. It is an intimate venue with a great drink menu (good wine list) and very nice food. Service is professional, friendly and booking online is easy. Wonderful choice of performers as well.

This was my first time at Birds. All the staff were very attentive and gave great service. The sound quality at this venue was second to none. An absolute pleasure and will definitely be back for more shows.

Great venue, great music and atmosphere, but what lets this place down are they bar staff. Husband and I waited 45 mins to be served the first time and 50mins the second round and couldnt beleive the incompetence of the barstaff. We watched in disbelief as we had never seen anything splo tragic or comedic, depending on how u look at it. This made are experience not very enjoyable as we were there to enjoy the band and not spend half our night waiting to buy drinks. Please employ more staff and train the ones you have!

Saw Renee Geyer tonight at birds basement. What a great night. She is a real pro. Her band are fabulous. Great venue for a good night of music and food.

This is a wonderful jazz venue. The staff are friendly and it's fantastic that you can bring children. Our 6 Year old daughter has been twice now. She's quite the avid drummer. The staff arranged for my daughter to meet Cindy Blackman Santana. Keep up the great work Birds Basement. Keeping great jazz music alive! We will be back soon to see Mike Stern. Can't wait, yay

Lovely venue with great sound and lighting. Enjoyed some amazing latin jazz with Nestor Torres and band. We had a top night night out- cheers!

My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic night out. Excellent space and great cocktails. The music was brilliant. Highly recommend.

Music was fantastic! Awesome Jazz and Blues musicians. The food was not bad, old school "American Italian" style cusine. Friendly staff and service. All stars go the the music. @Gianni Marinucci and band performing a tribute to the great Chet Baker.

Soul Sacrifice - Santana classics! Brilliant singer & band! They all worked so hard to produce some classic Santana hits. Great to see the female vocalist accompany them!

Beautiful venue great music but got ripped off on the food package of $130 for a couple. Food was good, mains and desserts came upto $97 had two sides worth $ 8 got charged for them.

Great place to hear some jazz! Loved the intimate atmosphere and great service from the hostess. But food was very avarage, not impressed. I will go back but definitely not for the food.

Ate a steak, gnocchi and pasta bolognese
