Shout out to Ben in the drum department who spent an hour with me trying to sort out some spare tuning lugs for my old REMO kit. He even went to the trouble of removing various drum lugs to find the exact size I needed. In the end, my purchase cost was less than $15 for the spare parts that I needed but he was happy to spend the time to make sure I got the correct parts. Great customer service.

Brilliant store with pretty much every brand under the sun. The staff were friendly, helpful and proactive. Easy to speak with and they know their stuff. Easily the best music store in Victoria for any type of musician, since they stock drums, keys, guitars and more and at fair prices.

Dave was magnificent in selling us the roland td17kvx drum kit so helpful with our many questions about the various kits that me and rosscoe asked.he went to great lengths to match the price of a competitor. I was so impressed with the service that I have to rate dave in the drum section 5 stars.
Awesome place with great gear and great staff. Upon entry I was greeted with a warm welcome. The staff were aware I had no intention to purchase anything as I was showing my friend around the instrument as he is new to it. A staff member whose name escapes me lets us try a few instruments and even brought one that he thought would be a good starting point.

These guys know their music and their instruments. You can tell that they live and breath music and don't just work there for a paycheck. They are very welcoming and I'm sure they're ready to help anyone out just like they did for me.
Probably the most zero-stress and zero-bs experience I've had with any music store. Processing was fast, as was the delivery. Pricing was great and the product arrived well-protected. Couldn't have asked for a smoother customer experience!:)

What an amazing store. I placed my order at night, and it was delivered the very next day. Realised I'd forgotten some cables, so placed another order that night, and again the goods were delivered the following day.
Had issues with other music stores advertising product online they didn't have any stock of. Not the case with Billy Hyde. Their communication was prompt and pleasant, they had my order ready straight away and although it took the courier a few days to deliver (not their fault), the product has arrived. Thanks Billy Hyde. Appreciate the good service.
I have recently purchased a guitar pedal online from Billy Hyde Music, which unfortunately was never delivered. I have tried to reach them multiple times, but they have been mostly unhelpful. While the major issue was with the poor-quality and unreliable courier (Fastway), I wish I could get more support from them. They first asked me to contact the courier, who never left any calling card, and therefore I was not able to track the parcel. When I asked for reimbursement for somethign that it was never delivered they refused. They will only reimburse once they will get back the parcel. However, they did not mention what will hapen if the parcel will be lost by the courier in the meantime. I had other experience with "not delivered" parcel purchased in other music stores, and they all apoligised and refunded straight away. This unfortunately did not happen with Billy Hyde Music. I will never use them again.
