We have the best experience in Billy Hyde Music. My daughter has been asking me for a guitar and after checking few shops, I decided to take her in this store for a Black Friday sale. Obviously, it was very busy. Staff who greeted us at the front door has been checking with us if someone was assisting us already and went to find someone. The staff who assisted us was excellent. He was very accommodating, answering all questions we have. We never felt that he's pushing for a sale or that we have to hurry so he can assist someone else but of course, we tried not to be a pain too. He even offered to tune the guitar before we leave. They also have a parking space in the basement. Be aware though that they are open at 12pm on Sundays. This store is highly recommended.

The time has come to learn the Piano. 88 keys weighted. Marvellous. The sound is as real and clear as a Piano.

Disappointing service. I ordered a digital piano at 12pm and qualified for same day shipping. I got a call to say that they could only deliver it the following day which was fine. The next day I had no communication from them aside from an email with a link to a tracking site (which did not work). I rang and emailed a few times. I got a response at 8pm to say that the courier was on his way. But after waiting all day and not being able to leave the house, the courier didn’t show up (or even tell me he wasn’t coming). Instead he arrived the next morning. I did not receive a text to say he was coming. Luckily I was home. Wouldn’t order from Billy Hyde again.

Music is about sticking it to the man not bending over for the man. Billy hyde likes to bend over for the man.

Spent over $800 on cymbals including a splash. The splash was delivered sticky taped to the side of the box and bent and dinted in multiple places. Guys need to use a bit O brain when packing. Will go through cranbourne music next time

The best experience I had in online purchase not only their price was $50 lower they did a secure payment check and did the free delivery on the same day can't be more satisfied with the service great customer service would definitely buy my future gear from these guys as well.

What an iconic store and an institution for all things instruments and Audio gear and there customer service is second to none, in particular, during covid lockdown, Craig was so helpful in sorting my Yamaha HS8s price and pick up deets and once l got there (they have free delivery but I needed to get out of the house:) the staff had it all ready

I recently purchased an acoustic guitar (Yamaha FG820) for myself along with a few accessories (Guitar stand, tuner and some picks) All products arrived within a few days of ordering and in excellent condition. Will be shopping with you again in the near future. Thanks.

Some nice staff there but some are not. Just wanted me to pay but not showing proper manner to the customer. Had a good experience here before at the drum and percussion section but today i had pretty bad one at the fron desk where all the guitars were. I ended up buying the product that I wanted to buy for the birthday present but I would not recommend here. I probablely not come back to this store again.
