I placed an online order end of November for an electric guitar case. Notified on 1st Dec that the order was picked and ready for shipment. Later that week notified that there a slight delay - because no one was home on the delivery day it was sent back to the depot. That is reasonable. I tried to get in touch with the courier via email and via their live chat. After several hours of waiting on live chat I gave up only to find that they replied in the early hours the next morning but because I wasn’t on line they closed the chat. Used their process online to redirect the parcel to an address where I knew someone was home all day. Had to paid $5: 50 via PayPal to redirect. Received confirmation of redirection but no indication of when it wld be delivered. Sent more emails requesting delivery date. Spent more time on live chat without a response. The guitar case was delivered 22/12 and I feel this only because I went back to BH and spoke with their staff who elevated the problem to the logistics dept. Thankfully I received great help from Maria who was able to contact the courier company. The delivery service BH music are using (delivery to Victoria) is shocking. I understand that Christmas deliveries are hectic but I should have received this item early December which is why I ordered it late November. I would really think twice about placing another order online if delivery is still using Amarec

For me me, it was the warm and friendly customer service when I bought my Ibanez TMB100 bass guitar, bass overdrive and chorus pedal, and Ampeg 30w bass amp!

We purchased a guitar amp online. They took our payment but then did not fill the order. When we enquired about where the amp was they said there had been a pricing error on their behalf and that they would require additional funds if we wanted the product or they would refund the amount paid. If you make a purchase on their website don't expect to receive it! Complete waste of our time.

Exceptional online service and very friendly team, today I Purchased a E373 Yamaha online at a good price and contacted them, Kia which is an online team member of the shop has sorted it perfectly.

Dave helped me out a lot when a certain guitar company kept causing problems with my order. If you want to deal with people who will do that crucial little bit extra for you, this is the place.

Just another scam at Billys.
Purchased a speaker labeled as 'clearance' on the website. Paid the money immediately. Noticed that the clearance ran for another week so I guess others were buying too.
2 weeks later I get an email saying i had ordered the 'last one'and it couldn't be located. Just a scam to get my money.and other victims aswell. Never again billy hydes. Total flogs.

Wrong item sent. How you rectify these issues is when a business shines or fails. Replacement is loaded with red tape and painful and slow. That's a fail.

I ordered a sound mixer from their online store one month ago. It says the standard delivery takes 3-7 working days but it took me four weeks to receive it.

In the last 12 months my wife and I have baught some Yamaha drums, a Blackstar amp and telecaster guitar from Billy Hyde Music in Nunawading. All the staff whether it be over the phone or in store have been exceptionally helpful and professional. Each time we got on great like talking to an old mate as the staff are so friendly and patient with their time.
I highly recommend Billy Hyde in Nunawading with great staff and reasonable prices. 5 stars.
