Fantastic park. The gardens are just beautiful. The park is clean and the ensuite site we stayed in was the best one we have seen. Great stay would highly recommend.

Booked the three bedroom villa, it was amazing! The campground has amazing facilities and offer mid stay services as well. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.

Be aware future park users. A number of families were attempting to book Easter 2023 for 4 nights only to be told that we must book 5 nights as a minimum (nearly all the families involved only get 4 nights/days off over this break). From my perspective this is clearly an attempt to gouge more $$ from people over Easter. On top of this, we also had to pay the full amount now (25 August).

Beautiful park. Close to excellent dining. Friendly staff and well maintained facilities. We will definitely be back.

Spent a long weekend here on an ensuite site. Ensuite was large and clean. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Great spot opposite The Mill Castlemaine next to Castlemaine Botanical Gardens and walking distance to town.

It’s a great place to relax and chill. The accomodation is very clean even the kitchen&restroom. I didn’t expect there is a guitar inside the luxury glamping tent. Nice. The only things is we didn’t get notice that the tent is still not ready to check in (2pm). At least if I got email or text, I can go somewhere else first. Anyway I’m happy and will come back.

We had a fabulous time, which conveniently coincided with blissfully still and sunny weather.

Started with a night of glamping - magic just across from botanic gardens. The bed (with electric blanket) was very comfortable, but the tent surprisingly less so, due to the low and awkward entry. Also had to stoop more than expected inside (around the sides of bed), and access to power points required acrobatic skills!

Angela was amazing - friendly and helpful. Arranged extra nights for us to do our own camping in a great, secluded spot, further away from other camp sites. (At peak times, the sites are definitely less than private, but visitors were well behaved).

Park amenities are fantastic and kept spotless. The gas pizza oven was a godsend, due to my lack of experience cooking in a fire pit.

If you want convenience on hand, to make the camping experience less hard work, this is the place to go. We had fabulous wood fired pizza 5 mins drive away. Next time, will be sure to try the taproom and pizza just across the road (unless my fire cooking skills improve!) Great coffee and bakeries nearby, too.

Love this place, will definitely be back. Thank you.

The best caravan park we've stayed in! Clean & tidy and friendly staff ready to help. We had an ensuite site - the ensuite was spotless. Set in the Botanical gardens, the location is perfect. A five minute drive brings you into the centre of town. Will definitely return.

Good staff and an excellent location but vans are tightly packed and difficult to access. Very good ensuite for No 36. Expensive. I was disappointed.

Easy online booking and check-in experience, great communication. Toilet block is super cute, embraces the retro feel while still being updated and very clean. We'll be back!

What a great park, the Mrs and I don't generally go for the "big" parks but this is beautiful set alongside the botanical gardens with direct access to it. Nice and quiet and the owners are lovely to deal with.

Nice surrounds next to the Botanical gardens, older facilities but very clean. Trampoline pillow great for kids plus simple games room.

We had a lovely 3 nights stay at the caravan park. The toilet and shower facility are extremely clean and well looked after. I felt really safe and comfortable. The bush kitchen was fantastic with a great pizza oven, two bbqs, one fridge and lots of tables and chairs. The bush kitchen is extremely clean, well equipped, and cozy with a little library. The kids had lots of fun and made we new friends at the jumping pillow. We particularly loved the location of the caravan park as it is opposite The Mills with the best brewery, cafe, vintage shops, bakery etc. We were able to just walk across the road to get our coffee fix. We would definitely come back. Thanks is for having us.

We had an awesome time at the park. The amenities were super clean and well presented. The caravan site was excellent with ample extra room to park the car. Well deserved of the Big4 brand name. Will definitely visit the park again in the future

4/5 stars because we have enjoyed our Valentines holiday in the safari tent. The bed was so comfy, cleanliness is superb!
Very organised system that they will send you a reminder email and text prior to the booking for hassle free check in. Place is really nice.

Downside are: (For improvement please)
1. Too many mosquitoes? Inside and outside the tent see my photo you can see my back was full or mosquito bites and my kids and hubby as well. Better to place a insect catching machine to minimise at least the bugs that are flying inside the tent.
We had mozzie bites as souvenir guests should bring mosquito repellents.

2. Tents are close to each other, we had trouble sleeping in the middle of the night as we can hear other people from other tents talking, shouting and laughing.even using the bath tub feels like we are lacking from privacy because the other people from the safari tent can see us bathing️

3. No means of cooking.better if there will be a mini gas burner so we dont need to take away food from the shops nearby. We brought eggs and bacon and bbq but sadly there’s no means of cooking. My hubby was planning to make me a breakky on bed but he cant cook ️ it could save us heaps of $$$ instead of buying takaway.

4. Playground please! My daughter was so bored jumping the whole day in the jumping pillow, please in the future better to have a nice playground inside the big4 park for toddlers and smaller kids

A great place to escape, I stayed on one of the luxury cabins. They were clean and very comfortable. I traveled on my own so I felt very safe. I would certainly recommend this place and I shall return again.
Thank you for a lovely stay

Good location next to Botanical Gardens. Friendly and efficient staff. Cabin, although very clean was tiny and I felt over priced considering we just came from another Big4 that was almost half the price and twice as big with a balcony. During the week, you hear trains run all night. Not so much on Saturday nights. Not many ammenities on site.
The best thing about the park is it’s a one minute stroll to The Old Mill where they have everything. We went for breakfast at Das Keffehaus every morning. It’s that good. Also, reception gave us a great recommendation for The Bridge Hotel located a 2 minute stroll from the park. Food, drinks and prices were fantastic. Great vibe!
I would opt to stay elsewhere when I visit next based on price and the noise from the trains.

Great customer service. Clean rooms. Limited activities in the games room. Can be upgraded and fixed.
