BIG W Southland

Went to the store just to buy the 18.5 inch DVD player tv that was advertised for $189. Not only did they have no display stock.they had none in storage.when I asked the sales person to look for one at another store he replied that there was 3 at Parkmore. I asked if they could transfer one to southland. He said no. I then asked if I could pay for it now and for big w to post it to me.he said in a rude tone. No. Go on line and do it that way. I said to him why would I go on line if I am here now in person. I said to him that I was not happy and left. I will not go back to big w again.the advertising when it gets delivered will go straight into the recycling bin. Pis_ _ _ off and very upset.

Typical Big W. Lots of stuff at reasonable prices. I like shopping here. Staff are friendly and in a good mood

Staff in cashier is not polite. The price as the lady at the back told me $29 but at the cashier she charged me more. And she even didn't apologize for mistake.

A lot of good cheap stuff well laid out maybe because it's Christmas they have actually some stuff on usually there a bit lean on that easy to park easier to get to not too many false here

Very poor. Processed and paid for click and collect order. I chose Big W Southland specifically because website said was IN STOCK. Website said orders received by midday would be ready after 4pm same day. Received no confirmation. Limited time next morning, went there to collect thinking it wouldn't be a problem. Very long wait with other customers experiencing same problems with their click and collect orders and they were all being told there is no stock. I pointed out the website said stock available. They got some more assistance from another employee who actually knew what she was doing and pointed out to the other employee the order was "picking in process" and I should go grab a cuppa and come back in 20 mins. While I was having coffee received email to say ORDER CANCELLED and my PayPal payment had been refunded. Went and got the stuff off the shelves myself it was quicker. This whole process was a massive pain and not at all what I expected!

Poor customer service at Tech department. Long wait & staff seemed disinterested in customers waiting

I love Big W but find the newlayout confusing. I needed mens socks went to menswear no socks different area. The chocolates I wanted weren't on a shelf.but in a free standing display found by chance. IIve been about 3 times since they've changed everything and I still dont like it

Great store with ample selection of cloths, toys, electronics, kitchen, home and garden products on offer. Staff are helpful and friendly. Great prices guaranteed. Have also got a good selection of bathroom and cleaning products lollies too.

Online order and click & collect was terrible. Would have walked away with nothing if I had not queries and questioned.
