BIG W Doncaster

Store is large with plenty of aisle space. Shelves are always neat and it's easy to find the size I want.

Wanted a pair of boots. Signage so confusing. Shelf price 69 scan price $79. Did not bother any further. Walked out

Store layout is nice and big. Staff there are friendly. Self-service and checkouts are a little small.

Well spaced out and everything is easy to find, and the prices are decent. However, and this is a big however, the staff were very unengaging. When approached, they stopped their happy conversation to glare at me while I asked where something was and wow the look wasn't friendly in the slightest, and the tone of voice was somewhere between "trying to sound friendly yet failing" and "hiding our annoyance at your interruption". Don't mind me, I'm just the person you are paid to help.
If I shop here again, I'm gonna do my best to avoid staff contact unless absolutely necessary; it should make for a nicer visit.

DO NOT TRUST DEEPA SHE WILL ACCUSE YOU OF STEALING. I AM NEVER GOING BACK HERE I AM FULLY TRAUMATISED I HOPE YOU GET FIRED DEEPA.

Just called Doncaster Big W, which is not close to where I live, in hope that there was a particular Bluetooth speaker available as it says ‘low stock’ on the website. I was looking for a simple answer. Either “yes, we have this at our store” or “no, we do not have this at our store”. I have often made special trips for items that say ‘low stock’ on the website to find that there is actually no stock available. The lady (who sounded like she was of an Indian descent) on the phone was extremely unhelpful, she sounded very stressed out and couldn’t even check to see if it was available for me. She could only say “if you really want it, you should come and see here”. I’m sure not all service is like this at Doncaster but on this occasion… Horrible service. This lady is not doing Big W any favours. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to many other people.

Great options for homewares, baby clothes and accessories.
Should increase variety in women wears.

A huge place with hundreds and hundreds of quality, and brand names, all very reasonably priced.

Today I went to big W Doncaster and was genuinely surprised by how helpful and nice the boys working in the toy department were - it’s the first time I’ve encountered genuinely nice and helpful people who it actually felt like they wanted to be at their jobs this Christmas. They were crazy busy unpacking and stocking the shelves but that didn’t stop them from helping me, one was named Alex and he’s seriously made my little boys Christmas, so Alex - thanks so much! And to big w well done on having such a happy and helpful team!

A male staff member followed me to door to show me a dustbuster he had found to compare with what I had chosen. Brilliant service

Very good service before, during, and after lockdown. Good range of products. Great team of staff especially the party balloons area, always deliver on very short notice.

Everything you expect from a Big W. Being in a major Shopping Centre can be convenient and they offer a good click and collect service.

The staff doing the click and collector and they were fantastic. It's not an ideal world where we all have to queue to pick up items, which we shouldn't have to, but I've got nothing but positive things to say about them.

I couldn't find what l was looking for as this store doesn't have the great range the epping store has. If you are not looking for a hard to get item it is an OK store.

Did my first click and collect. Everything went smoothly and I was able to pick up my purchase on the same day! Greeted by a king staff at the entrance, good hygiene practice and covid safe measures implemented. I felt safe doing my shopping here. Everything I needed was in stock. No problems during the checkout. It was a quick and easy shop! Will be a returning customer.

The clothing for men need to bit better and cheaper. Clothing at kmart cheap prices and better quality. But I still love shopping at big w.

I like Big W, this was a good example of a Big W store. Lots of items and it was neat and tidy too, not cluttered with displays in aisles as I have seen in other stores.

Amazing team, every one was very helpful. I haven't got this kind of help in a big shop in a while.

Nice big store, heaps of variety and just about anything you can think of, a few of the shelves look a little bit empty but overall there was enough of everything to be sufficient, good prices as well, bit busy on the weekends though but during the week I’m sure it would be much nicer, would recommend.
