61Wasn’t really having a great experience dealing with the staff. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to visit and get their gadgets repaired here.
I was having a lot of problems with a Mac that I purchased from Harvey Norman but wasn't getting a straight story out of anyone else. Beyond the Box quickly identified the problem and upgraded my computer. It now works well. I had to spend some money to sort it out, but it cost a lot less than buying a whole new computer and I feel it was good value for money. Their communication was excellent and I didn't feel like they tried to upsell me anything I didn't need.
Great service, very professional and efficient. Kept me up to date with my service call. Highly recommend them for all your apple repairs.
The team were professional given we are in a pandemic and I appreciated that. However, they refused to help me with my issue because my receipt did not have the serial number of my Macbook Air on it.
Firstly, it was a miracle that I had a four year old receipt. Secondly, they recommended I call the store where I purchased to get another receipt with the serial number. I called the store and although they had a record of my transaction they could not print a receipt with the serial number attached as it was four years ago, not surprising. So, I left with a computer that was still broken.
I understand that they have these rules in place for a reason but surely there is some wiggle room.
I called another licensed mac repairer in the city and they took my laptop with no hassle and resolved my issue in a timely manner. I find it difficult to understand why one store would take my computer and the other would not.

Not only did they take a week and a half to not fix my very simple problem. They did nothing to fix my very simple problem! My estimate = clueless.
Counter staff were friendly and helpful. Technician Luke phoned me to explain what was needed and when finished. My computer was fixed faster than I expected. Very satisfied.
Avoid this place! Extremely unhelpful staff and terrible systems. I went to the Apple store straight after their incompetence only to be told that the issue, which was going to take 3 working days to just "analyse" let alone fix isn't a fixable part. This was the very first thing the Apple store technician told me when I told him about the issue. Apple store also fixed the issue on the same day!
Rude staff who don't offer solutions, only problems. Terrible systems too, I spent hours on the phone to Apple support and 20 minutes filling out Beyond The Box's forms prior to the appointment, only to turn up and be asked what the issue with my phone and be offered no solutions at all. In mentioned form I gave detailed information about the issue and asked questions, which were ignored. 0/10.
The Apple Store arranged an appointment for me with Beyond the Box to look at my 4 year old iPad. It was a little out of my way, but not a bad UBER ride from CBD. They confirmed what I already suspected, that my battery needed to be replaced, which would take much longer than the days I had in Melbourne. They treated me extremely well, and I was very surprised to hear that a replacement iPad would be cheaper than home in the US. Was very happy with my experience at Beyond the Box.

I needed the battery on my iphone replaced and the service here was great. They kept me informed of what was happening every step of the way and stuck to the time frame promised to complete the repair. I would highly recommend this repairer.
Great service, knowledgeable and friendly. They understand that computers are complex for a lot of ordinary folk and so really help to explain and work through the issues.
Absolutely amazing service! I broke my screen and the Beyond the Box guys informed me my screen was faulty to begin with and could be covered by apple, and solve the issue at the same time! Could have been paying $1000 and paid nothing thanks to these guys! Awesome service as well, constant updates and asked many questions before servicing! Couldn't them recommend more!
Was quoted $1200 to fix my 2015 MacBook (bought in 2016) with water damage at an Apple store and was impossible to recover all my data. 6 months later came to Beyond the Box. $200 to fix AND all my data is still there. Wouldn’t go anywhere else
I’ve been a long standing client of Beyond The Box and have purchased several items, the most recent being a new iMac, which I’m extremely happy with. The service I received from BTB, in particular Blair, was competent, efficient and customer focused. Highly recommended!
Made an appointment via apple website. Arrived for my appointment.
Said they couldn't help. Wanted money upfront for priority service and needed macbook 5-6 days. Seriously?
Terrible customer service. Unprofessional. Will never come here again.

The people that work at the entrance of the store are not friendly and the service is shocking. I will name them when i get there name.
