A big thank you to Dr. Youngsuk Ko for his prompt diagnose to send my wife straight to Sandringham hospital last Thursday. She received the best care she needed immediately.

BEWARE. Within two days of having my symptoms dismissed by Robert Cai, I was in emergency. His negligence and lack of care were exceptional.

Absolutely retarded receptionists. They couldn’t process my son’s Medicare bulk bill so they were asking if I have any kids I don’t know of. Chuckling among themselves about how big my son looks and even questioned my wife about his age as if we were lying about his age.

They made me do online new patient form from home when I booked an appointment and then when visited their place made me do another paper form. Yet couldn’t process the bulk bill. They are not stand up comedians to comment on inter racial kids. I don’t think they heard of professional behavior. I am going to lodge another complaint with ACCC.

Doctor was nice but I guess the receptionists keep only enough traffic he can handle… for all excess they might turn them away with this cheap sloth paced admin work.

I would give just 1 star but the doctor was good on the diagnosis, except his lack of tact and considered the appointment a "long appointment" when it's was less than 10min. The receptionist was not clear about the fees. She told me 70 then 35 then 70 again, and after the appointment I finished paying 110 dollars. They should let people know about posible fees from the beginning.
I would never go back to this clinic and I would never recommend it.

After giving less than a month's notice for introducing fees (including the Christmas period) I was sent back and forth from here and the sister clinic after being given different and incorrect information from doctors and staff. I was worried and stressed about getting it sorted out as I am having some ongoing health issues but was not supported or helped at all.

I've been to other doctors in the area, this centre & its entire staff are far and away the best. Dr Robert Cai thoroughly investigates your medical matters with thoughtfulness and professionalism.

It's a very popular place.

Just went for vaccination and clinic nurse was very thorough.

Very clean clinic however very disappointed with how dismissive the GP was with my concerns. The GP ignored my condition and referred me to go to Emergency Department for something he saw that wasn’t even there. It was a very poor review of a patient. I wouldn’t recommend anyone go here.

First visit to the clinic for a COVID booster. What an incredibly friendly group of people. Quick registration and short wait. All the staff were nice from reception, to the treating doctor and nurse.

The administration staff were understanding of my need for medical attention and lovely in their approach to getting me in to see a doctor face to face. The Dr, was honest, understanding and straight to the point regarding treatment I required. He settled my concern and advised me how to treat my condition without expense and fuss. I was in and out in a short time. Most appreciated Bentliegh Medical Centre. Bless.

I've seen two GPs here. Dr Youngsuk Ko and Dr Robert Cai.

Dr Cai is an absolute joke. He greeted me in mandarin assuming I can speak it. Asides from that, he had no regard for anything I had to share or say and dismissed the side effects I was experiencing (chest pain) post my second vaccine, telling me to just go to the hospital if it worsens. It was his last appointment for the day at 6pm and he seemed keen to get me out asap. It's safe to say that all the 1 star reviews against the clinic, mostly referring to Dr Cai, are warranted. I'm surprised there has not been a medical negligence case against him.

Dr Youngsuk Ko on the other hand is fantastic. Empathetic and able to explain things well. He considers a holistic approach to issues and gives advice that is beyond just taking pills.
I would have given 5 stars for Dr Young but it's only fair to rate the clinic based on the quality of doctors overall.

Follow up: Two weeks later and my symptoms have not gone away and exacerbated. Upon attending Emergency, it appears I have inflammation in the heart. This just really angers me sitting on a observation bed in the hospital at 1am waiting for results, and could have been avoided if Dr Cai had exercised a duty of care.

It was free. Avoid Doctor mentioned here many times by others, at all costs. Must be a partner in the practice, hence he still has a job.

Dr Young is amazing. Excellent with children's issues.

Terrible experience with Dr. Cai. Would not recommend going to him. I have severe pain in my left leg and I have visited him twice regarding the same.he is always been asking me to take Panadol and deep heat.asked him to refer a physician but he ignored it.

Had a eye infection in the morning. Frantically searching if there is any available GP for the day. Found this medical centre and quite happy with the service. Fully bulk billed. Dr. Robert was nice and approachable. Highly recommended.

Easy set up and online enrolment before the visit. My GP was very attentive and listened to my issue in detail. Thank you!

Very unprofessional doctor
Didn't bother to understand and no satisfactory diagnosis or reason provided.
On top of this doctor Robert? Didn't even prescribe any med to my 2 yr old daughter who has been throwing up since two days. Told me to buy any med over the counter. Reached chem WH in a jiffy to find out that there is no OTC med as such, I wud need a prescription.
Consulted another doc, straight away got pres for odendesteron.
What a wastage of time and money at your clinic.
Better pick up ur game or there will be more shame.

It was my first visit to the BMC, for my Covid 19 Vaccination and was handled very promptly and professionally. Thanks to the Front desk Team, Doctor and the Nurse. Well done!
