Pies were ok, nothing to write home to nonna about.
Vanilla slice on the other hand! One of the best.

Kids loved it also

Cook had the audacity to come and tell me i couldn't eat my sausage roll while waiting for my coffee. I assume because I had my mask pulled down. Not to mention the rat dog didn't have one on himself. SMH.
And the regulations state that all people employed are wearing masks but that wasn't going on?

Its not as good at it used to be, l think its way to busy now, it used to be a nice relaxing place to visit but now its that busy you have no chance of sitting and chatting its just to loud.

The Ned Kelly pie was sensational & bigger than many. The Bavarian cream ring and fruit eccles were also really good. Busy with a queue, well worth a visit

After all the hype, thought we would try it out. Got to say very underwhelming especially the pies. When I ask for a steak and mushroom pies I expect chunks of steak and mushrooms. All it consisted of was tasteless mince and two mushy mushrooms at best. Very tasteless. The beechworth pie was no better and just bland gravy with a hint mince. Very disappointing and won't return.

Love the bee sting and vanilla slice from here. Our go-to each time we're in Healesville. Line was long out the door due to covid safety requirements in place, however the team and person by the door did a fantastic job in managing the lines. Definitely recommend as a stop if you're in the neighbourhood

We didn't know about this bakery. We were at Bendio a few months ago and ended up having lunch there by chance. The Healesville branch is barely 30 mins drive from our home. The only bad thing I can say about this place is that I always end up binge eating when I'm there. Their butter chicken pie and big brekkie rolls are great. Quality of the ingredients used, seem to be great. Almost everything from the cakes section is mouth watering. Highly recommended if you're visiting Healesville or on your way to Warburton!

Pink Vanilla slice is heavenly yum Ned Kelly pie is a must try too. It’s always a nice cozy spot to drop by when you are ready for a long road trip.

The smokey pork and bourbon pie is one to avoid. Sweet treats are plenteous and quite good, but are they good enough to warrant the wait in line? I recommend you get to Beechworth bakery early to avoid the queue. The staff were friendly and were cleaning regularly.

Wow this is a big bakery with lovely staff, indoor and outdoor seating. Coffee and pies were awesome. None of the outdoor tables were clean however inside was spotless.

I went to Beechworth Bakery today with my son and I'm very disappointed with how things have changed. My focaccia was about the size of my palm and my son's wrap was baked onto the paper wrapping so he couldn't eat it without eating paper. This place used to be great but i doubt I'll be going back anytime soon.
Edit: we were given a voucher to return and it was much better this time. Perhaps it was a once off, will return and keep this review updated.

Unfortunately the Healesville site was over crowded & tables were a mess even on a Friday, the coffee & pie was luke warm & does not meet the Beechworth bakery customer service promise if I recall correctly?

Came up midday on a Saturday, was quite busy but they seem to have a good flow going so that you're not held up for too long. I had a Ned Kelly pie and a vanilla slice with an iced coffee - it was all divine!

Been here a few times & loved the curried pie & yummy date scones with cream (request for this). Cappuccino is awesome though hot chocolate on another visit was bland. Lemon slice - hmm - not to my taste - too sugary & not so lemony.

Friendly service. Beautiful views. There is seating outside - front & rear. Clean toilets are outside along back seating area.

The motto "Worth the drive" speaks volumes. Numerous cafes and bakeries in town deceive only a few drivers, but those who know continue through town to this pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Hot pastries meat and vego, fresh sweets and daily made wraps and sandwiches are all delicious. Also venture out to the back deck, beautiful scenery. Love this place.

Scrambled Egg Toastie - Meat Pie - Vanilla Slice Donut - Custard Roll
Thought we would grab some treats for the drive home from this famous bakery. There was a grand selection, everything looked quite stock standard - and can confirm tasted just as average, as was the service. Everything seemed sloppy, or maybe I just picked the wrong things. I understand it’s just a bakery, but with all these sweet treats on offer you could at least smile! A nice outdoor area at the back. Other than that, nothing to see here folks.

Great service but.food is not fresh at all they “strive” themselves on fresh food but 70% of it comes out of a bag, including chicken and beef.even eggs brought pre boiled.absolutely disgusting. I have found hairs in my food on several different visits it’s so overpriced for what is less than mediocre food. If you value your time and money go to a local small cafe or bakery may be pricey but will at least me worth it unlike this embarrassment

Delicious! Great food, savoury and dessert alike. I recommend a savoury scone or a Ned Kelly pie with a cappuccino or hot chocolate and a slice of carrot cake for dessert.
It can be slightly expensive, but the prices are clear, I'd usually spend about $20 there. Also if you come at lunch you could be waiting up to 20 minutes to order. Overall 4 out of 5, I would recommend.

The place is wonderful and you will enjoy the scenery of a classic and legendary 1900 century structures. We ended up for an afternoon tea at Beechworth bakery. You must not missed this naturally good looking place when you’re going to Bright.
