Beechworth Bakery Ballarat

Pretty good for a bakery, better than a few others that I have been to. Very spacey inside and some desserts are better than others.

Always good food, when the line gets long they quickly add more staff to deal with the extra people, great place to visit

Beautiful warm dining room, happy friendly staffs, delicious food and doughnut, made our trip really pleasant.

Coffee was amazing, made exactly as i asked. Staff were so friendly and patient, especially with my daughter, they made sure they got exactly the right iced donut she wanted the right colour and even the right colour sprinkles, was so nice they took the time and effort to make us feel welcomed and looked after! Could not be happier with our experience:)

I suppose Beechworth Bakery is one of the best bakeries in Ballarat. The bakery cum cafe has a great atmosphere and you can see how much each customer enjoys the drinks, cakes or pastries. I conquer with them especially the Beesting!

It's a great place to have a drink of coffee and catch up or catch a quick meal.

I would only give it 2 stars, but it would make a good story! All the tables without anyone on them, were filled with half drunken cups of coffee, and plates. The hot chocolates and coffee weren’t warm enough, and the ice chocolates were more cream that drink! (I’ll be honest with you though, I did really like the cream!) One potato pie had mushrooms in it (it’s not meant to) and for some reason one spinach and ricotta roll had pasta in it! There is a lack of staff, but luckily they are currently hiring.
Overall, though, the food was quite good despite their faults, so I give them 3 stars.

Definitely a lack of staff here. You get to be your own waiter. You get pasta in your spinach and ricotta roll. Don't worry about blowing on your coffee, it comes luke warm. Don't feel like buying anything? Just eat and drink the leftovers on each table.

Not worth visiting at all. With so much hype, had reasonable expectation on its food and services. But this bakery fails! Had omelette toastie, it was extremely extremely extremely salty! It is like dropping a bottle of salt in your mouth. Told the staff and she said, oh, becuase of the cheese, hence it is salty. Hell no, the bread and all the ingredients in it were extremely salty. Staff wasnt apologetic and expect me to finish it. Not returning here. Waste of money!

I was having a really hard day and I came in and one of your workers Izzy Henning was really kind to me and made sure I was feeling ok. She suggested the shepherds pie and it was just what I needed to carry on with my day. It was my first experience with this bakery and only remembered when I saw her at my school as this happened a while ago.

Staff were friendly. But there was nothing vegan I could eat. Was told that there's normally a falafel wrap but they had sold out. But I think perhaps rethinking a few things on the menu would be good. I've eaten vegan pasties so often, I don't see why they need to have dairy in them. Plus, there are those who simply can't have dairy due to allergies. I've heard so much about this bakery it would be good to eat there.
