Beaumont Tiles reviews
50 Large showroom with wide variety of tiles. Showroom has a very nice layout. The software enables you to visualize your selection, which is a very useful tool.
Staff is very friendly and was keen to help even without asking for help. Price range is wide and you can find some items on sale too.
A small play area for little ones was available.
Parking on site, not very large though.
Don't accept recommendation for tiler. Endless delays and questionable workmanship. Very frustrating. Poor reflection on Beaumont Tiles
When first went in was great very helpful. But then tile delivery didn’t arrive 3 different scheduled dates. Have sent tiler home. Have rang left messages from 9 in the morning was promised tiles would be delivered first thing in morning. Now they can’t find my order go to National Tiles save yourself a headache. Was happy but then there’s no excuse for rest of service
Great display. Excellent range of tiles. Very knowledgeable & courteous staff - they also have an interior designer - offering good advise style, colour, value, maintenance.
Gromac Building Group have always used and recommended Beaumont Tiles for our projects. Special mention is needed for Kathy at the Oakleigh store, going above and beyond, ensuring our specifically matched tile was delivered on time. Thankyou for your efforts
Awesome place with a great choice of tiles and it's great to see what the tiles will look like with the bathroom accessories (vanities, bathtubs, showers, etc.). My only problem is tiles can range from $26-$200 p/m2 and the prettiest ones are usually more pricey. But if you don't have a problem with budgets this is a great place to go!
Great service from all staff. We had multiple visits to pick our bathroom tiles. Special thanks to Tom. He was a great help and very knowledgeable.
They didn't have the items we wanted but directed us to a different supplier who would. Thanks for all your help
Excellent service from Tom! He is patient, listens well and goes out of his way to help coordinate with timberline from which we bought the vanity. Timberline was also helpful to assist us in sorting out where to put tap holes and the sink holes although we bought the basins and mixers from other companies. Anna has also been very helpful to cover up for Tom on his day off. Overall, great experience buying fe Beaumont tiles Oakleigh!
I returned sample tiles to this store recently and experienced their poor business processes first hand. They charge $10 a tile for samples - fair enough, it encourages people to bring them back. The trouble is that they give you paper receipt with the tiles and expect you to bring it back in order to get your money back. I forgot to bring it and then had to wait 20 mins for them to find their copy of it - the receipts are filed by date order and I had no idea of the exact date I came in. This meant they had to go through 3 weeks of receipts, stored in plastic sleeves in a binder. I suggested that maybe having a spreadsheet would be good idea (they appeared to have max 10 receipts for each day). Got told this would be too time consuming. Apparently it's ok to waste their customer's time! I then suggested a process improvement of putting a sticker with the date on each tile so that it would be easier to find the receipt. Got knocked back on that suggestion too (I'm getting the feeling that customer feedback isn't welcomed!). I was told that they'd be using this method for 45 years and weren't going to change it. At this point I didn't bother to point out the lost opportunity they have to send email marketing to people who borrow tiles - if they collected their details digitally. I also figured that if their was their attitude now it could only be worst if I actually did business with them and bought tiles (heaven help me if something went wrong with the order!).
An example of a business that hasn't adapted to the times.
