64Always a great variety of baked goods here, plus delicious sandwiches. My favourite are the white choc and macadamia cookies.
Great cakes made the most classic way. I also enjoyed their chicken sandwich - tasted really refreshing and comes in multiple variations to keep me excited everytime they post in the morning! I also love their crumbed zucchini sandwich and their cauliflower parmesan fritter sandwich so so much. Truly some of my favourite sandwiches in Melbourne.
Holy god the cake here. Was excited for my long-awaited first visit as I have the book, and it didn’t disappoint! My boyfriend and I laughed afterwards about both panicking over our choices; as the only person in the shop and a big line outside you don’t want to take too long. But I don’t think there are wrong choices, and the staff were nice and helpful. Strawberry/chocolate roulade, chocolate and sour cream layer cake, and the caramel bar, all insane. Brilliant shop!
The cakes are divine and I’ve even made the cheesecake at home (which did not disappoint). I really appreciate the teams strict adherence on covid safety in these crazy times. And they don’t use disposal cups Thank you!
P. S check out Instagram for their daily menu.
Your cake is okay but not golden cake. I hope you can less arrogant and respect customer. Order can make via SMS, not phone call. Last time I wanted to order a whole cake even I ordered few days in advance, got rejection. This time I texted and waited for few days, no reply: (.
I'm not sure how is your business model but as a customer I feel really bad. I want to support local businesses during lockdown but this is not acceptable.
Cutest cozy cafe with the most gorgeous selection of cakes, baked goods and sandwiches to choose from.
Their infamous cakes will stay but they can get creative with their limited special menu items which always draws my attention.
Pistachio & sour cream cake w/ lemon curd buttercream (5/5) : perfect - flawless. Idk how they expect us to replicate this with their cookbook but I’ll gladly throw my money away for this cake. That sourness was mellow yet there, which paired so well with the zesty yet velvety lemon cream. Pistachio lifted the entire flavour of the cake to a new direction, with that unique nuttiness that just completes it.
Heard their red velvet cakes are AMAZING, and basically everything else too.
I really love the idea of borrowing their coffee cups or whatever it is, such an unusual yet special way of coming together in the area.
If only I lived closer, this would actually be my go-to cafe after a morning run or spot to relax.

The ham, cheese and salad roll somehow managed to simultaneously taste high-end gourmet and like my Mum had just made it for me!
Oh my goodness so delicious. I had a cheddar scroll and salted caramel slice. Absolutely gorgeous.
Great cakes made the most classic way. I also enjoyed their chicken sandwich - tasted really refreshing.
Amazing service, delish cakes, and they even complimented my Asos shoes made my day and lockdown honestly xx
A friend brought these for us after she saw the line outside. Banoffee pie was delicious but the other things were mediocre. Layered Crepe lemon cake was dry and bland. Savouries were primarily soft bread rather than crusty bread. Everything looked very pretty so I guess that’s something.
Omg! What a find! I'm from regional Vic, but I know that whenever I visit Melbs, I will surely be passing through this place. What a treat! I can see why they are so busy and have such a good reputation. Best cakes I've ever eaten and the coffee was perfect too. Thank you!
Hands down best cakes you can get in Melbourne. The only thing more consistent than the quality of the amazing cakes you find here is their friendly service.

I didn't get a chance to try the coffee. No take away cups, are you crazy. Make me wait in line to order to find that out. I had the time to sit but nowhere to sit. Grow up. You're not saving the planet. I just went up the road and got one.
The crepe layer cake was alright, a bit bland with the occasional sourness from the lemon. The pistachio cake was relatively better, not as dense and just the right amount of sweetness. Was surprised to find the shop to be quite small, so there aren't many seats. Expect to opt for takeout since tables are often full.
Always amazing. The staff are friendly and can help you choose if you are like me, and easily get overwhelmed by the variety of delicious treats!
The cafe is teeny tiny, though, so I'd recommend going outside of the busiest times, or grabbing your bits takeaway and wandering down to a park or taking them home.
This place is heaven for those of us who have a sweet tooth. The red velvet cake and American apple pie cake were our choice. Both were incredible. I'm dreaming of my next trip to Melbourne. This place will be on the top of my to-do list.
Rolls are top notch. Cakes look impressive but all seem to taste the same. Good coffee and friendly staff.
I don t care if this place makes good cake or not, it is the most unfriendly shop i have been to in Melbourne. Prams have to stay outside. If they have cakes in, they refuse to sell them to you. Stay way.
Small and cosy, efficient friendly staff. This place is a real gem, serving truly delicious and unique cakes and composed lunches. A must for sweet toothed foodies.
