Situated in a great location in bustling Beach St, not far from the CBD of Frankston. Beach 162 has a great outdoor entertainment beer garden and outdoor seating area.

The food in my opinion has always been the let down for this establishment, the prices don't reflect the quality of the dishes. An investment in kitchen staff would really lift the quality and clientele of this great restaurant.

This place is really good.went here for a friends birthday and the service was incredible.the live music was a great touch as well

We had a table inside (due to the weather!) and I must say how well we were looked after. The service was excellent without being over the top.
The meals were reasonably priced and well cooked. And with just the right quantity. Congratulations to the whole team!

Amazing place with food and staff to match! Its my home away from home where you are always made to feel special wether its just a coffee or a lovely meal plus the Sunday arvo sessions with live music are always a fun affair! Cant fault highly recommend 5 stars!

The boss wouldn't know how to run a business properly if her life depended on it. Employees are rude, arrogant and unnecessarily passive aggressive. Didn't come here to eat but for employment, walked out after 2 hours and being abused by multiple staff members. Didn't get paid. Don't care - literally wouldn't go there as a patron if THEY paid ME to.

Exceptional is the word I would to describe this slightly out of the way, but well worth the trip venue.
I usually go here a few times a year and I've been going there for a few years now. I continue to go there because i always have a wonderful time with whoever I'm with and they have great food, with decent size servings.
This year we went there for my birthday. We had a slightly larger than normal group, we were looked after reasonably considering the amount of people at the venue and we were allowed to bring our own cake.

Second visit in 4 weeks. Jimmie Hocking as the entertainment. The selection here is very good and reasonably priced. Jimmie was brilliant once again!

Beach 162 is a great place. There isn't a great deal of off street parking, though. Their food was delicious. We went on a Monday morning for breakfast. It wasn't busy which is why I was a little confused they refused to scramble my eggs (this would have given them 5 stars). I ordered the eggs Elizabeth, with extra avocado and hash browns. The hash browns were TO DIE FOR.best I've ever had - fluffy and so tasty.
The atmosphere here is also worth noting - plenty of greenery to set the scene and heaps of different types of places to sit. Also ordered an iced mocha, which was Amazing. Also best I've ever had.
If I go back and they scramble my eggs I'll change my rating

Great local cafe / restaurant, we have tried this place a couple of times now and starting to enjoy it more each time. This recent visit we went with friends and sat in the courtyard on a Sunday for lunch. Really nice ambiance, staff and service was friendly, helpful and we didn’t feel pushed, great afternoon experience will definitely be back to enjoy the courtyard again throughout summer.

Visit quite frequently and have never had a bad experience! Delicious food, friendly staff and a beautiful venue.

Online booking failed to book us in correctly. Suggest calling to book in instead.
Great food, friendly staff, but super loud inside and slow service. In fact we sat for so long a chef had to get wait staffs on our behalf after our many failed attempts to get their attention.
Would happily still return though.

Plenty of vegetarian options available and a wide selection of drinks that match your meal selection.

The place is cosy and works for both couples and groups.

Love beach 162, outside in the courtyard garden is like being in a tropical paradise. Love that they have live entertainment.
And a big plus for us middle agers, to mingle with our own age.
Food is lovely, overall a fantastic atmosphere.
Inside the building I feel like I'm in Tuscony and outside I feel like I'm in Bali.
It's definitely one of it's kind.
Very lucky to have such a place.

We come here quite a bit but I object most vehemently about you having LNP propaganda pamphlets in your entry. I wont be back whilst you do this. You're a business, act like one.
