B&D Garage Doors Melbourne

Thank you so very much for your help today getting my door working again after someone disconnected the electrical mechanism. I haven't got the two people's names, but they were fantastic: so patient and hekpful. I am very appreciative! Wonderful after sales service!

The tech support team at B&D are amazing. Four team members took the time to patiently help me get the remote door app and remote controls working again after I accidentally erased all the programming. In particular Chris from B&D Sydney is the most patient and knowledgeable person I have ever dealt with from a technical perspective. Also thanks to Maree, Dianna and Vicki who were all very understanding and helpful also.

Worst experience ever - we ordered garage doors and paid 50% deposit on 11/6/2021 and as of today 21/10/2021 nothing delivered or installed. They promised installation in 4 weeks - already in 19th week, still counting. They have booked twice but cancelled on both occasions.one of their receptionist is not only rude but. Last email sent to them on 12/9/21 still waiting for reply.avoid this company if you can

Having a B & D mobile showroom come to our home was very convenient. We are thrilled with the style, the fast, ultra quiet soft closing doors and the remote controls. We don't know how we put up with our old roller doors for so long. The price was less than we had expected. We couldn't be happier!

Excellent quality. We were very pleased with the result, service and workmanship. Everything went smoothly from quoting, measuring and install. Installation team were efficient polite and cleaned up afterwards. Thanks B&D also for great communication and assistance when setting up the remote and security function.

Poor communication
2 cancellations and 1 no show for installation. (I had emptied two garages and put cars and other things into storage) it took 5 months from paying the deposit to install and when they did no lock supplied for one of the two doors.
I bought these on the brand promise of security and there I was for 5 weeks without a garage I could close.
The installers were fine but the call centre was the weak link. They did not manage the process at all well.
Would not use again.

I am very happy with my new roller door but I’m very disappointed with the time it has taken to make the locking system available for my door! I bought this roller door with the hopes of having security after having a burglary. I’m still waiting. Then to follow up with a terrible campaign of
“A roller door is never truly locked unless it has your locks attached. ” You have managed to inform every burglar that every house is waiting for them to steal from. How can anyone feel safe after seeing your advertisement. Shame on you!

I love the B & D app. The door is excellent. Waited 25 years. Worth it. I loved a free 1 year service if possible.

Do not walk away from this company! RUN. RUN. RUN.as fast as you possibly can! I have never dealt with a company as incompetent as this one. They came out and measured, forgot to place the order, then come out and measured again, quoted.and I paid.then came to install and the door was the wrong size! Didn’t let me know they had been and couldn’t install. I wasn’t home at the time but when I got home I patiently waited an hour and a half before I called to see where they were which is when I found out it didn’t fit. I asked to have it cancelled and for them to return my deposit.it took three weeks as the person I spoke to (the manager) didn’t send the request to head office!

Door installed on time, looks great… was a little annoyed I had to pay extra on installation for the side and top brush effect in cash…. Thought that would have been part of the overall. However, would recommend B& D.

I had my B&D garage door replaced with a newer model.
I have found the new door to be a lot quieter.
The quality of installation is excellent.

Not recommend to anyone.
You can't schedule anything with them,
I already paid the full payment, they installed the wrong model and no one care to replace it. A lot of hassle to get them on phone and giving appointments and no body came.

Customer affairs will be engaged to take the proper action with them.

The worst experience you can expect.

Will be our 5th recall on auto-lock. They admitted to us that lot of customers have complained about this too. Don’t bother with that feature. I have paid for a product that doesn’t work.

I had nearly 50 years of trouble-free operation from a pair of B and D roller doors on my garage. In 2019 when I purchased a car with wider doors, I had to replace the pair of doors with a single and an opener. The quoting and ordering process was simple. The installation went without a hitch. To date, the operation has been faultless.

We had a roller door made for the front of our venue- Mantra Studio Kitchen in Yarraville- the service was wonderful and the price very reasonable- we are very happy with the result

I put my remote control through the wash rendering it useless. B & D managed to get a replacement to me in a couple of days

These doors are very nice, but not as strong as my old previous Roll a Doors. But these are much quieter, but much slower in opening or closing. The remote only needs an instant to send the message, and the doors operate from a considerable distance away.

The installation was about 1/2 a day as there were 2 x doors to fit. The fitter was very courteous and got on with the job efficiently and without any fuss. He advised me about routine maintenance and programmed the 4 x remotes for us. He took away the old doors.

Overall an excellent result of replacing 2 old and damaged x Roll a Doors with new quiet ones in the Colourbond colour we wanted.

Highly recommended.

I get my roller door installed on the 16 of Dec from my experience B and D doors are reasonably priced and of top quality, we had a roller door installed at our other place and we were really happy with it, a lot of people commented on how good it looked. Regards Don Foster

Lots of communication gaps lots of 2 and fro, missing orders and not kept upto date with me about my order.
