62Don't be fooled by the name of the restaurant, BBQ-K also has some absolutely delectable non BBQ dishes. On this occassion we ordered half a fried chicken (no bone), army base stew and kimchi pancakes. The fried chicken was cooked to absolute perfection, pancake hit the spot and the stew was filling and heart warming. We will definitely be back for more!
I'm not a huge fan of Korean BBQ, but BBQ-K is not bad. They use hot coals to cook their food (with a very efficient fume collector).
I had the Combination set menu with a sode of calamari, which was $83 split between three diners. It comes with soup and unlimited kimchee sides and sauces also. The food is quite good, it's not my favourite cuisine, ut the best Korean BBQ Ive had. That said, my fellow diners who know what sauces go with what meat had a great time.
They also serve Soju, which is a fun alternative to your standard alcoholic options.
The staff were great and super happy to help us however they could.
