Couldn't recommend this place enough if you love your Korean BBQ and few Soju shots to go with it!

Had my dinner here tonight, staffs are such rude cts*. Keep doing the bbq even I said can we stop for a bit. Food are cold and we have to eat as fast as we can. My wife was so mad today, food are bad and expensive, not worth. Not recommend. Don’t say anything bad to the manager coz they will never reflect on themselves and only blamed customers through the past reviews. BTW don’t reply to me. DONT.

This is our family's regular place, probably once every 3-4 weeks, and hold special occassions here because the quality and value of the food and service is the best. We always have so much fun because the atmosphere is phenomenon.

Didn’t tell us there is a time limit on the table when we made the reservation, didn’t feel welcome when we arrived. Such a rude manager, BBQ-K in Hawthorn is a much better restaurant to go to. Aviod this and spend your time and money at BBQ-K Hawthorn.

Honestly, keep up trying to argue against the one who’s trying to spend money at this store. You are just trying set enemies with customers and money. Pathetic.

Worst experience ever! I called to book the table earlier and the restaurant said they have plenty of table and I can come at anytime from 6: 30 to 7: 00. Then I come at 6: 45 and they said we are too late that if we are late for 10 mins, they will cancel our table. Or we can wait for another table for another hour or more and there’s no place for us to put the pram for our baby. Very bad attitude including the manager. We leave for another happy Thai dinner. Won’t come again… it just ruined my mum’s birthday!

So interesting the manager is still telling lies here! The time we came in is exactly 6: 45 and we are leaving at 6: 55, and the funny thing is in the phone they said they have plenty tables that we can come ANY TIME between 6: 30-7: 00?
the manager offered us a really small table only enough for 4 and doesn’t allow us to put our pram beside us, so that means a booster and 4 adults will smash into a small table for 4 people! And that’s how we ask “too much”? If you have a baby is only 8 months then you definitely understand this is a totally family unfriendly restaurant!
Just read what he is saying now, and you will get an good ideas how these people treat their customers normally, just so ridiculous!
They mentioned their royal customers, I think they might be only people who speak Korean? But unfortunately this is Australia and we are the same customers!
And I just have time to read the other post here from other customers. The funny thing is, there are so many customers are not satisfied with this restaurant, until now, the restaurant never feel sorry or try to improve their service, but keeping reply and cursing their customers underneath here?

Kinda disappointed i always go there and this isnt the first time i visit bbq-k here. Staffs seems very off and i assumed the one that serve our table was either manager or the owner because they were wearing different clothes but anyways they burn our meats and drop of raw meats on the table then proceed to say sorry and put it back? I was nice enough to not ask for another one, again i drop the burn meat on table and did not want it but the guy put it back on grill like we gonna eat it? They are just weird
Not going there again but you can go if you like burn meat tho. Shout to that staffs who gave us refill kimchi so quickly! Bye

Only 4 stars though because service was too slow. Took them more than 45 mins to come to our table to order and the restaurant had only 3 tables which were already served!

Great food and great service as always. I often come for the delicious cuts of meat and love the korean stews. A bit pricey, but to be expected for kbbq.

Was absolutlely amazing.service was good and they looked after our grill very promptly.fairly reasonable considering the quality if the meat.
The fried chicken was goooood!

Worst service ever. The food is fine however, it’s not worth the 30mins wait to be seated even though we had a booking. The owner was rude and condescending while the servers acted like we were an inconvenience when we tried to order several times

This restaurant is one of the best i've ever been so far together with my family.we went there the other day all the way from geelong.the service is very good, worth to dine in for.staff is very approachable and they're always smiling.they are very welcoming.and also thanks to the young lady who assisted us when we arrived at the restaurant.she's really fast and always look out us and other tables just to make sure everyone is okay. Great Service! Definitely will come back again!

The food is good with fresh ingredients but the thing that they charge us because we paid by card that’s not fair (not a public holiday) And because of that I won’t go back to this place

Portion size is huge. Well cooked and super tasting without overpowering with sauces.
-1 star due to one staff member sighing everytime a customer asked her a question.

Delicious Korean BBQ Quality of meat is good and fresh. The food will be cooked for you. Gotta try the Korean fried chicken bone-in. So crunchily tasty and juicy. Definitely a kids favourite! For 3 adults and 2 kids, we ordered Set 1 (pork set), Set 2 (Angus beef set), whole fried chicken with bone and yukhoe. These were enough to fill us up. If you haven't tried yukhoe, it's a must-try! Simply yummy. Also, the Korean pear juice (can drink) is superb and refreshing. Best to book as they are pretty busy. The BBQ-K at Doncaster is very good too!

Excellent food and service! Went here with my wife over the weekend, the service was lightning quick and attentive.

Good portions for the price we paid and we left the venue feeling very satisfied. If there is one negative comment I have to make (but not enough to warrant 4 instead of 5 stars), it is the choice and volume of music. A little too much bass and too loud, this is a restaurant not a night club.

Best local KBBQ spot, I always feel looked after here and the food is amazing! Highly recommend!

BBQ K has everything, friendly staffs, tasty food especially pancakes, meats and fried chicken and especially they have a system not to leave any BBQ smell on your clothes. We often absorb all sort of smell when u visit BBQ place but BBQ K is different. U can still smell your clothes after you visit BBQ K. They have a good pandemic procedure as well. Just try this place!

Sell your kidney to eat here and u may have enough $$. The lad who cooked our food kept dropping stuff and eavesdropping in on our conversation which was weird and unnecessary.the reply from the owner is the classic here also (i review 5 star places more than 1 star) correct yourself before blaming me, u running a poor business
