Fantastic venue for a relaxing lunch. Live band with nice music, open fireplaces and lovely salads and soup with meals

Came for dinner and had the seafood platter for two. There was a decent amount of food and it was good value for $53. All meals come with free bread and soup too.

A regular for many years, I went there in October 2018, new owners, new chef's a small change in the menu and the food was terrible. Not going back.

Cosy place, feels like a log cabin. The open fireplaces are fantastic during winter. Just basic pub food, but I go for the $15 natural oysters on Thursdays.

Was very disappointed in our last visit to this establishment. The service was Ok but the band (if you can call them that) was terrible, It was so loud that we couldn't hear anyone or talk to anyone on our table. We did ask to move only to be told that there was no where quiet around. We had a party of 8 and 4 actually left. Maybe you should actually advise when people are making a reservation to bring earplugs. Boo

Great Tavern on the way to the Peninsula. Good food at Bistro prices with plenty of options. Kid menu available. Both indoor and outdoor seating avail. Great surroundings, plenty of parking and a nice place to get together fir the afternoon. Highly recommended.

Nice old pub, poor range of beer, Australian beer thats unavailable on tap is also not available by the stubby. Beer is also quite expensive. Very large dining room and public bar, small gaming area.

This place would have to the best pub in the area. When ever I go out for a meal, I always end up comparing it to this place. Best food you can get, unless you want to drive all the way to the city. And I'm sorry for the people that have had average food there, probably an off day? Or maybe just the wrong dish, I would reccomend the porterhouse. Never had a bad steak and chips from here. Only, one star deduction for being placed at a table right next to the que line.

Worst service I've ever had, very rude waitresses and people working at reception, worst food I've ever paid for which I ended up getting a refund for. I got the nasi goreng, which I loved with previous management but with new management I'll never go back there. We went for my daughters birthday and it was definitely the worst place I've ever been to. Miss the old management, they were awesome.
