Baro Mediterranean Restaurant Rosebud

Lovely service but a disappointing meal, particularly for the price. If you are after authentic Mediterranean food and experience, I advise you look elsewhere.

Overall we were disappointed with our meals. Although the meat was lovely, the rest of the food was average - the salad served was very small, over dressed and did not taste freshly made; the vine leaves did not taste homemade. The ambience was good but could not make up for the poor food experience.

U should definitely come here and try Turkish cuisine. Their service is really nice and food is tasty.

Overexpensive food and drinks. Bad customer service, annoying waiters who bother you every 5 minutes to ask if they can take everything away. Let me enjoy my food, although even that was not good.

Wonderful food and service. So great to find a super delicious option that isn’t fish and chips or burgers. Well priced and super friendly staff - even to our noisy children.

We were very pleasantly surprised to find this gem. Basically Turkish cuisine and delicious. I give 5 stars only for exceptional food, service and ambience. This was a birthday lunch that was exceptional.
We started with a dozen oysters which were fresh tasting and with plenty of lemon.
Then we shared the adana plate and a lamb skewers. The lamb was tender and moist with great flavour. Then it was finished with a Turkish coffee and delight. Just the thing to end lunch. Oh, and the service was fantastic looking after all our wants.
We will be back for lunches there!

The reviews suggested we were going to be blown away, but we've travelled a bit and eaten a lot of Turkish food. It was nice but not special, and the decor and ambience were lacking. We wished we had tried the cheap kebab shop over the road that has been written up as one of the best in Victoria.

One of the best restaurants my partner & I have visited! The food is so close to home and absolutely delicious. The chicken and Adana were mouth watering & the atmosphere was so lovely. Thank you for an incredible feed, we will be back.
