Genuinely one of the best meals we've ever had, let alone in Melbourne. Couldn't fault a thing from service to wine to unbelievable food. Family recipe Italian sausage was incredible and brussel sprouts that were on par with a steak- and a f***ing brilliant steak at that! All this nestled on a quiet street in Collingwood. Thank you!

I just ordered the scrambled eggs.
They are the best scrambled eggs I have eaten in a Melbournian cafe (and I eat out a lot). Fluffy, incredibly tasty and the cibata was amazing. The venue is amazing, hugging ceilings, relaxed dècor etc.

We couldn’t have asked for a better reception venue for our wedding. The venue space itself is absolutely gorgeous and very versatile.
Lisa and Rocco were super professional and made us feel at ease. They were very accommodating with all of our grand ideas and helped our special day come together just as we had envisioned.
The food was absolutely amazing, people are still raving about the roast pork to this day and the wine list was just as good.
We would not hesitate to recommend Project 49 to anyone planning a special event or just as a restaurant to grab a delicious bite to eat.

Great food. Went here for Valentine's Day in February. The place is really top notch and high end so expect everything that goes with that. Was in walking distance of my house so I didn't even have to catch an uber.
