Don't let the unassuming decor and furniture put you off, this place has some seriously good food.the souvlaki was delicious, the gluten free options are great as well as delicious (as confirmed by my celiac wife). She chose the stuffed peppers and the chips are hot and crunchy for the kids. My regret was i wasnt around long enough to bring a friend to try the lamb shoulder which looked delicious. Highly recommend

Had the beef sova which was slow cooked brisket
Not huge portion but was delightful and fresh with a side of roasted beetroot.
Would definetly go back again! Up there with the best food on the island and ive been coming here for 30+ years

We were almost deterred by the look of the place (looks more like a takeaway shop), but we were SO glad we gave it a try! We ate here twice in five days (because it was so good!) and pretty much sampled everything on the menu! Absolutely beautiful food! You can feel it doing you good!

What a fantastic little place. Just off the main drag, small but delicious. Service was prompt, Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Pre & Probiotic Kombucha also available. Will definitely be back.

The sign says Best Food on the Island, which we thought was funny but it turned out to be true! We went back three times. Thanks for the deliciousness.

Awesome food! And great service. The waiter was so funny and made it an amusing experience and you MUST TRY the galaktoboureko for dessert, it's kinda like a cross between a Portugues custard tart and baklava. And I LOVED the posh chips best fries ever!

Disappointed with our meal. Portions were small and we were left hungry. Roast chicken was dry and overcooked. For the price, we expected a bigger decent size meal. Taste was ok. But break food in Oakleigh is much better

Food is good but only challenge we had was with sitting space.we found it difficult to sit inside the resturant with a baby.a bit cramped.

Now like a takeaway joint.but rest all great

Amazing food! I had the vegan bowl which was sooooo yum, the pumpkin was so creamy and the hummus was deliciously made in house. Good portion size and really fills you up. My partner had the beef souvlaki which he loved. The chef was really talented and obviously loves his job. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.

Great customer service, staff are very friendly welcome you with warmth. Qualitu of the food is excellent and most importantly the quantity. Is great. Manpreet is the most friendly and welcoming owner i ever have come across in restaurant industry. Food is delicious and feel like going back for more, so we went two days in a row. Delicious unpretentious food. We had a lamb souvlaki, salmon roe dip with bread, and grilled fish of the day (barramundi). Everything was delicious. The chef was very friendly and chatted with us, explaining how the lamb was slow cooked and then oven roasted to achieve the crispy texture.
