This restaurant has some of the best food on the island for dinner. Fresh, well cooked and lovely service! A charming family restaurant. The galaktoboureko was the best I’ve ever had.

Called ahead and they kept the kitchen open for our party of 9. All staff were helpful and friendly. Food allergies in our group were handled well with servers checking ingredients and making suggestions. The food was amazing, good portion sizes and traditional flavours that hit the spot. For those worried about prices check the menu online before booking. I think it was well worth it. Thank you all for the perfect end to our fantastic Phillip Island experience.

What a fabulous evening. Aaron was wonderful. The sommelier had a great depth of knowledge. Thoroughly enjoyed his recommendation. Seafood platter was great. The meat platter was outstanding. The desserts were beautiful. Such an excellent evening.

If you are looking to have a 5 star quality food and service this an experience not to be missed.
As I am Greek and know about the traditional receipts. I was wonderfully surprised with the little differences which actual enhance the taste of the traditional receipts. The service from the staff and the personal attention to our needs Raj and his team excelled. Do your self a favour and drop in and give your taste buds a taste of what food should not only look good but taste of heaven.
I wish you had a restaurant in Melbourne as it would be a place I would visit weekly.

Great food and wonderful service at Bani's. We ordered the meat platter for two and grilled fish (barramundi) of the day for my family of three. The fish was fresh and grilled beautifully. The meat was tender, flavourful and more than sufficient for us. Definitely a highlight of our stay in Cowes this Easter holidays.

This is the best Greek restaurant I have ever been to the food service drinks are incredible we are Greek so our standard is very high do your self a favour go to this restaurant run by beautiful people

Walked into the restaurant and the waiter was so incredibly arrogant abs rude we didn’t bother to wait for a table.

One of the few restaurants on Phillip Island that keeps its kitchen open past 9pm (even on a weekend).
Service was great, location and ambience also great.
Food is OK without being amazing, serving sizes on the small side and prices are above average.

We loved this restaurant. Ambiance is great, service cheerful, and the food was to die for. We shared a tamarsalata dip, amazing! And we both had the lamb moussaka and agreed it was the we have ever had. One of those dishes you don’t want to end. Highly recommend Banis

Food was Over priced and Underwhelming Staff tried hard to fill the void to the point that it became a little tiring.

Sensational food worth the price. The meat platter is absolutely perfect and kids fish and chips was actually very first one or kids finished in its entirety! Highly recommend to anyone.

We went for dinner this evening and the services and food was spectacular. The staff went above and beyond always checking to make sure we were ok and did we need anything. The food was amazing. The lamb shoulder was the BEST we have ever had. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Big Disappointment! 5 star prices of Melbourne Greek restaurants with 3 star service and 2 star food. The All Greek banquet for 2 is served with 1 main. I have never walked of restaurant and certainly never hungry!

I should've read the reviews before walking-in. I recommend you go few doors down to Capri or hotel across the road.

Perhaps the restaurant is catering for tourists and not Victorians who know their coffee and food damn well.
