One of the best places in Ballarat on a nice day. Sit out on the deck and enjoy the view. The food is typical restaurant quality and it's a great place for a drink.

Very nice venue and reasonable food. The view of the yachts coming and going makes for a pleasant scene to enjoy your meal. Quite noisy though.

The yacht club delivers in so many ways. The coffee is good, the food is delicious and reasonably priced and the decor is appropriate for the environment. To top this off there is a great deck to take in Lake Wendouree, especially on a sunny day. However any day it is great to look across the lake from the yacht club. Possibly the best place for food around the lake.

We went twice while visiting Ballarat. Nice location, on the lake. The weekday specials are worth every dollar. Good service, reasonable prices. Go early or reserve. Four of us went for breakfast on a Saturday morning and were highly impressed. The young staff were all all extremely well mannered, great conversationalists and very welcoming - excellent staff choice and training.

Yeah. It's quite good. The food is excellent and the coffee is good. My espresso martini was excellent. The staff are cooler than the regulars though who may be having trouble sharing their space with regular people. Few snobs kicking about but it has a beautiful outdoor space on the lake and were really kind to parents with prams in tight spaces. Will go back.

Awesome food, great service and amazing views. I've been here for breakfast and lunch and wasn't disappointed either time. I'd definitely go back.

Bitter coffee, very average meals. Antipasto board had basic supermarket deli items. Budha bowl with very unpleasant cauliflower. The view outside is nice.

Very nice ambience. I felt relaxed just by looking out at the lake district.
Not to mention, this place serves great food!

Had your Regional conference here, staff are friendly food was nice and the best part was the view. Will come back next time I’m in the area it’s one of the best places run Ballarat:)

We were a large group after some breakfast and found the service great and the coffee delicious. The menu had lots of things that sounded great and I'm sure there would be something for everyone. We pretty much all ordered poached eggs, and all of them were sadly (clearly) overdone.apart from one person, whose meal was forgotten, so she got a fresh batch. Overdone eggs when you go out for breakfast so rarely is a bit of a let down, but honestly, the coffee was so good I'd go back and give them another go. Not to mention- the setting is beautiful.

Limited menu but great tasting food. Their breakfast menu is great with a few choices. Probably a little over priced in my opinion but is worth it for how delicious the food is. The staff are always friendly and accommodating and wait time for meals is reasonable. Is always very busy for lunch and dinner so not always guaranteed a place if dining in a large group. Option to dine on the deck that looks out over lake Wendouree which is beautiful on a nice day. Is a convenient place to park and dine after walking the lake.
