Ballarat Yacht Club

First time I have been to the Yacht Club. I thought it was going to be amazing, but I found it a bit disappointing
The service was lacklustre at best, the food was nothing special and a bit overpriced for what was on offer. Won't be in a hurry to go back.

Beautiful view and vibe. Ordered an Ice Chocolate with lactose free milk but I am curious to know if scoop of ice cream in the drink was lactose free? ! Drink was yummy but I didn't eat the ice cream!

Wayne and the team at the Ballarat Yacht Club restaurant were fantastic to deal with and made our guests very welcome at our wedding breakfast recovery on Sunday! They looked after around 50 family and friends, providing several adjacent tables so our guests could continue to chat and socialise. The food and coffee were fresh and delicious and delivered punctually with old fashioned country service and hospitality. Would highly recommend this venue if you want to cater for lots of visitors to Ballarat and to show them Lake Wendouree during a meal. All of our family and friends loved the experience. Lovely place for breakfast after a run around the lake They were happy to fix a vegan breakfast for me with a selection of sides. Good coffee too!

We had breakfast last week on a Tuesday. Quite busy. Food were not that great. Specially the rocket leaves were rotten and yellow. They were used as garnish and I can’t believe it came out of a commercial kitchen. My son had the breakfast wrap and my husband got the Yacht big breakfast. Very average. So many staff just walking up and down. No service skills at all. Not in a rush to be back!

Good stuff. Went there for me Christmas party. Though I got absolutely hammered. The boys took care of me well. Would go back, for the next one.

Brilliant location, good opportunity to increase the food quality. The Thai beef salad was not much more than an old steak sitting on baby spinach leaves.

Food was fantastic A+, Chicken parma was spot on and super crunchy which made it perfect.wasn't dry, it was JUICY! Chips were hot n crunchy as well! Love it!

We visited this place just after lunch. Sitting outside looking over the lake, views are amazing. I bet at sunset this place would really shine. Kitchen was closed when we arrived but we were able to get a pizza. Pizza was okay but not really good value for money.
