Nice place for a Monday lunch, was a little busy though. Prices were a little steep though food was standard

It was just bacon and eggs but it was so beautiful and mouth watering. They were the best I have ever had. Excellent service and such yummy food.

I have recently relocated to Ballarat (do I am a new resident) and the waitress refused to serve my partner and I (who has also relocated with me) despite us having documentation and also permission from the DHS!

What a way to welcome new residents to the town…btw we got lunch at the boat shed nearby which was fantastic

Had a beautiful lunch and coffee here. Very generous serving sizes, great range of choices on the menu and selection of cakes, incredible views over Lake Wendouree and fabulous service. Will 100% be returning.

Fabulous walk along the Yarrowee Creek. Lots of places for a picnic. Beautiful trees and you can hear the frogs.

Went for brekky - was pretty bloody good. Very busy, but not hectic. Good food portions and even had a cocktail in the morning!

Just had the most amazing lunch at this beautiful restaurant, very relaxing, great music and wonderful staff. The food was awesome and presented beautifully.
I applaud the gentleman at the door for adhering to government Covid restrictions as they checked in and asked for patrons ID’s, it’s just a pity that some people don’t understand that these rules and regulations are for the safety of all of us and especially those dining in. Whilst we were there this man turned away at least 6 couples because they didn’t or wouldn’t show their Proof of Residence and then had to deal with sarcasm and abuse that was not warranted.
So, I would just like to say Thankyou for all you are doing to keep your doors open so we can still enjoy fine dining.
Blessings
Sharon

The staff were great, the location looking over the Lake is just beauttiful. Closes at 4pm at the moment but hopefully as the warmer weather artives they will be able to have longer hours. Highly recommended.

Food was nice, but the fish and chips meal for my husband was more suited for a child's meal. At $26 he has no smile on his face. He ate again on the way home!

Had Devonshire tea there. Usually you get 2 whole scones, jam and cream in small container to do yourself. Not here, one scone, cut in half with measly drop of jam and cream you need a microscope to see. Very poor, go to Soverign Hill to get great service and Devonshire tea. They could learn alot from Soverign Hill. When you ask if you get 2 scones and told yes, that's what you expect. Then a grumpy lady slapping down your drink when you ask why there is only 1 scone cut in half. Very poor, very poor. Toilet broken too. Never again.

Still the best seafood plate you could get and my favourite, a good variety of seafood and even a great salad with it, a glass of wine and what more could you want. I have to say the Green lip which are not my fav mussel were very good this time and I really enjoyed them. Thanks and I will back for another one as soon as I can. The Yacht club has a great ambience with lovely views over the lake.

Great spot on the lake, had a good breakfast inside (aircon necessary) outside deck overlooks the water. Suggest phoning to book as very popular.

Ugh! The calamari is a must. Super friendly staff and the menu is superb. One of my favourite eateries.

Attended a work function at the Yacht Club recently and was told they would provide a gluten-free meal for myself. The venue was great, the staff were friendly and attentive but unfortunately I have had the worst gluten reaction I have had in 5 years after eating here. It was an evening meal and the reaction started at 2am. My conclusion is that the food wasn't Gluten-free or there was significant cross contamination that made it so. A great night out ruined.

I often recommend this place to visitors to Ballarat because you can sit and have a lovely brunch out on the deck with a view of the lake. Lovely spot and always good food too.
