A lovely place to be in thinking about it and you can get a lovely meal or play the poles.very impressive were the staff kind and friendly.you have a good time with the staff and the girls in the staff kind and friendly.

Ballarat Golf Club, This is the 5th time I have visited, and I can not recommend this place highly enough if you are on holiday and looking for a game of golf.

It was an easy phone call to make a booking, then the resting history.

This Golf Course is a tight treelined course, with couch fairways and bent and poa greens. It is a challenging course, yet at the same time, if you are on fairways off the tee, rewards of a birdie opportunity are on the cards.

The par 3 holes are of good length, which requires a good strike on the ball. The bunkers are strategically placed on the course, then you have the thick fescue rough and also protect the greens too.

The driving range has undercover hitting bays, and the Chipping greens are also in very good condition. Also, nice sized putting green.

The proshop is well stocked from Golf attire to drinks and pies.

The facilities are fantastic, from the change rooms to restaurants are very clean.

I met David, Travis, and Steve, who were working in the proshop on the weekend that I played. The guys were awesome and very welcoming. It was great to chat with them, but they were really good in trying to fit me into the competition field and with some great people. This made it a very nice experience as I met great members and made new friends.

Come try and see how much of a challenge this beautiful course is. You will love this course like I do.

Great course and it was in stunning nick when we spent two days playing there during the week. Quite a challenge even from the forward tees and is very strategic due to big bunkers and water hazards. A Thompson/Perret design and very playable for all. On the second time around, it got a lot easier and I managed to eagle the driveable par four 16th, which made the day a memorable one. We had perfect weather, the members we played with were very kind to us as visitors and the clubhouse and facilities are top class. Pro shop staff were helpful and gave good advice. Well worth a trip if you want to experience one of the best regional Victorian tracks.

Always nice to be back - Seniors Menu great - we enjoyed our Seniors Roast of the Day and a Seniors Parma with Veg - the way to go instead of chiops and salad and you cabn get chips with you vegies as well.

Will be back to pick up the home renovation win!

Had an enjoyable meal with friends last Friday. The Margarita pizza was delicious and my wife’s arancini balls were quite nice. Great service and a pleasant atmosphere. Enjoyed the live music

We are visiting Ballarat and had dinner tonight at the golf club - absolutely delicious food, well priced and the staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Heartbeat Ballarat had a fabulous Christmas in July celebration at Ballarat Golf Club Bistro on Sunday July 30th. Thirty-seven were welcomed, fed, and farewelled. The staff and food were all excellent. Sunday Carvery was delicious, generous, and very affordable. Our group of thirty-seven were 100% happy. Well done Ballarat Golf Club Bistro. We are planning a repeat visit in September to celebrate members birthdays.

Always consistent, table of seven with a variety off the menu and everyone was very satisfied. Will keep coming back for the quality and value of the meals.

The function room was very well run by friendly and helpful staff. Food was particularly good.

Just recently celebrated my Uncles 98th Birthday? Wonderful venue, great staff, very friendly & a willingness to meet every need. Good food for a high volume establishment.

Atmosphere was nice, staff were very polite and the food was cooked well! Would definitely go back and also recommend for others.

Okay for locals l suppose, too many flies and bugs in the outdoor area. The inside is very hot.

Just had my youngest son's grade 6 presentation night at the golf club. Meal and service was great. Thanks for making the night extra special. Much appreciated.

Set meals were inconsistent and substandard. Roast meat was dry and like processed meat with tiny drizzle of gravy. 4 meals were missing something and dessert was a store bought pudding with tiny drizzle of custard and coollie.

Food average at best 2 out of 4 meals were not good with 1 returned to the chef.but a big dinning hall with nice staff.
