What an amazing classy place one of the nicest Gardens I've ever seen, even better than Melbourne botanical gardens!

A must see when in Ballarat. Historical beautifully manicured garden beds, majestic old trees giving plenty of shade on a hot day, marble statues, the avenue of bronze prime ministers. Lovely grassed areas for relaxing and picnics. Big modern glass house with seasonal flower and plant displays. Easy access for wheelchairs. And the begonia festival takes place here in March. With jazz and blues throughout summer. As weekend events.

My daughter loves this place. She loves looking at the flowers and trews. Many paths to walk down, lush grass to sit and chill with a book etc.

Probably the best Botanic garden in Victoria. Close to the Tram Museum and the Australian Ex-Prisoners of War Memorial.
Free parking as well!

Beautiful open spaces, gorgeous flowers, succulents everywhere, a nice cafe and birds happily swimming on clear waters. What a wonderful place to stop on our way back to Melbourne!
