Lovely place to meet family and friends or just go and relax by yourself. Beautiful gardens and lovely walks with kids of all ages catered for in the various restaurants dotted around the lake. Summer entertainment found there every weekend from music to markets.

Great place to visit with kids. Amazing place to visit especially during flowering seasons. Picturesque spots for a lot of portrait pics. Nice pieces of art and statues placed very tastefully as well.

Beautiful to spend a whole day. Adam Lindsay Gorden Cottage is a must for gift shopping. Pipers by the Lake has fantastic coffee and ice cream. Take a picnic or have a bbq or fish in the lake

The garden is stunning, very well kept and a pleasure to walk through. The walk with the Prime Minister statues is very interesting. I also really love seeing all of the beautiful plants in the glass house. Definitely worth a look.

The gardens was a unexpected trip on our journey to Ballarat. But it was totally worth it. The amount of specimens of different plants, flowers and trees was magnificent.

The statues planted throughout the gardens was interesting and made the walk pleasant.

I highly recommend

Spring and Autumn visits are so amazingly beautiful with the garden bed designs and tree changes. Summer brings birdlife and shade for picnics and walks around the lake.

An excellent area. We'll worth a visit especially for the memorial to Australian Prisoners of War from the Boer War onwards. Stunning

Took a day trip up to Ballarat. The weather was glowing and this park was alive. It was a great place to take a walk around. There were also public amenities as well as a restaurant. If visiting Ballarat then this is a must do.
