Avenel Roadhouse reviews
52Easy acces from both directions on the Hume. Conveniently located about halfway between Benalla and Melbourne.
Old style roadhouse. Can get sandwiches as well as greasies. Probably the last on the Hume Highway. I hate the big chain places.
The service was great.
The breakfast i had was huge an very filling. An very well prices.
Been back 3-4 times an all the above was the exact same.
As a truck driver the Price of fuel is always high. I saw a guy come out of the toilet. Not wash his hands and then go back into the kitchen. Don’t think I will be getting food there.
Great place for a quick meal on your travels the staff are so friendly and the food is filling coffee is great I highly recommend this roadhouse stop in and find out for yourself.
Been going here now for ten years whilst having cancer treatment and reconstructive surgery.food has been cooked and served to cator for my disability, witha smile. Carnt recommend Avenel roadhouse enough for there support & help so I could Eat & drink. A lot of townhouses wont but there service here by the owners, staff & cook I've appreciated. Especially after surgery and traveling home hungry and thirsty. Thankyou.
No stars, bought a ham sandwich and the ham was green, had to climb over cardboard to get to seating area!
Terrible customer experience. Grumpy staff faces at stopovers is something you wouldn't want to see on a fine road trip.
Food standard but out quickly. They forgot our chicken tendies but we obtained a refund.
Trucks stop there a lot and a truck enthusiast such as myself can stand for ages watching them come and go.
The Roadhouse is a good place to stop on the way to Wodonga, to fuel up and buy some lunch, we find the staff very friendly and the food quite yummy, as we have been travelling through Avenel for quite a number of years, I always enjoy good old fashioned service.
The actual road house is great.friendly staff and tasty grub. The servo.not so great.the staff are rude for no reason or just simply don't want to be there
I see the petrol and diesel side of the business has improved there was water in all buckets window squeggy could have done with replacement toilets clean and hand dryers were new and working
