There is no better place for your tackle gear in Melbourne. They have everything or can get it. These guys have been operating for many years, are very knowledgeable and respected. I've just been back and like always went in for 2 things and came out with 12. Can't resist good gear. Thanks again guys, you do some awesome work for the fishing community.

Best tackle shop going around have a grate range of tackle. From fly fishing to lure bait rods reels you name it they have it if not ask one of the friendly stuff who will help in every way the can.

Honestly one of the best experiences you could have with a shop! I bought a new pair of orvis pro waders and clearwater boots from this shop online. I had order a pair of large/xlong waders online with a size 12 accompanying boot. A coupe of days later I received a call from one of the staff members at the outfitters as he was packing the order as he wanted to confirm that what I had decided on sizing was correct. We proceeded to discuss my measurements as well as the sort of fishing and (most importantly the terrain I fish) and conclude that in fact the sizing I had selected was not correct. The knowledge displayed was amazing/insightful and resulted in the right choice for me (not what I had originally ordered). While chatting also discussed my want for a new 5 wt rod. I described what I liked and wanted from a rod and was again amazed by the knowledge of the staff member. This may seem like fan mail but I couldn't help but write this review as you so seldom have a retail experience as great as this. I have fished in the US as really enjoyed the outfitters there due to the diligence and knowledge they have towars there trade. This is the only experience in Australia that has been on par with those US shop! Keep up the good work Aussie Angler! #customerforlife.

My favourite fishing store hands down! Not only do they have all your fishing supplies you will ever need, they are specialists in everything flyfishing which is my main style of angling.
The staff are always happy to help and are very knowledgeable. Can't wait till my next visit and I suggest you give them a go if your after some new fishing supplies no matter your style.

Proper tackle shop with staff who know their fishing. Some items are dearer than what you might find in the big shops, but small businesses like this need support. Love that they stock a variety of too.

Great customer service provided by the crew, particularly Joanne. She was very knowledgeable and very friendly over the phone. Had several interactions with Jo over the past couple of weeks and needed to exchange boot size from interstate. Joanne made the process very easy!

It's an amazing fishing shop. Anton and John are extremely helpful and friendly. I felt like part of a new family on my first visit. We spent a couple hours there to get fly rod and some more stuff, and John explained us all very detail and even coached us to use those stuff.
They got everything and you'll be served by people who really know what they're doing. They're more than just a retailer.
