It is always a joy to pop into the shop, you are welcome, usually remembered by name and the next thing you find yourself out the front playing, casting different rods and getting free advice. Rick, Joanne and Mick will do the right thing by you.

Gave them a call last week with some questions about old angling gear and also where to start next. I went into the store the same day.

Can’t express how friendly and useful their advice was, really gave me a lot of time explaining different set ups and options, I tried out a bunch of Rod and reel combinations with different weighted lines.
Can happily say I was fishing the next day and all their advice paid off. Most friendly/knowledgeable fly fishing store I’ve stepped foot in.

Boys set me up to clean the rivers out excellent shop has everything you need and the boys are fantastic

Absolutely amazing service that you will not find anywhere else. Communication was a breeze and they went out of their way to help me as their customer. Rick and the team are the best in the business. Great, personal service and always have what you need. Excellent supporters of the fly-fishing community, clubs and competitions.

Great customer service and so helpful. New to the game of fly. But so willing to help the novice to explore the wonders of fly fishing. Will be back for sure.

Simply cannot recommend enough. Rick, Jo, Mick and the team go above and beyond. I needed a rod that was out of stock at short notice and they went out of their way to source it directly from the distributor and arranged for it to arrive before my overseas trip - and this is not the first time! This shop continues to be the high water mark for customer service.

I've just moved to this side of town and was excited to have a great shop close by. The store is great, but while talking to a staff member another staff member barged over and was rude, short, no eye contact, stand offish body language. It was almost as if she didn't want me in the store. I felt unwelcome.

Can't go past Aussie Angler for the latest in fishing accessories and gear. Service second to none, with great help and experience from the staff.

Tried to put in an order online, but there is an issue with their website.

I tried using the contact form - no response
I tried emailing them - no response.

I suppose if they can't even spare 30 seconds to write a quick answer they must be doing so well that they don't need your money.

I don't consider sending an email to be the work of an "IT Guru" and you certainly managed to respond to a negative review in record time, so I'm not sure what your point was there, other than to try and have a passive-aggressive dig.

You did not send me an email. I also checked my spam folder before writing the review to make sure I wasn't jumping the gun.

You'd think that if a company is going to have an online store, then they'd accept email as a "tool to communicate" and not try to turn it around, claiming that a customer should have called instead, but I suppose I'm not an "IT Guru. "

And as far as your Covid excuse goes; I can appreciate things have been tough - like it has been for everyone else in the country - but you still managed to spare more time to write your reply here than the email would have taken, so I'm unsure of the relevance of that other than just another excuse.

Just made my first visit to Aussie Angler with my 10 year old son who is fishing mad, all of the guys were so helpful with their knowledge and eager to provide assistance. We will be back many many times! Great shop and great people

Extensive range of fly fishing gear, good range of salt water as well. Wide range of experience and knowledge from staff as well as excellent service.

Been coming here for a while now for anything I need and it's a great store I learn new tips and tricks every time I go the staff are full of knowledge and very friendly
