65Had a brioche toast. Was ok. The first batch brew was nice, acidity and hint of tomato. It was nice and good. The second flat white though! Really bad but both of us couldn't finish our discussion drink. Probably an odd bad one but I don't see myself going back again!
Food was overpriced and over-rated. My bacon was a bit soggy. I left with very empty pockets. The staff are reasonably friendly, but they do that annoying sales tactic of nudging your shoulder to buy another coffee when u are finishing the dredges of your current one. That tactic comes across as quite pushy and greedy, tbh. I’d go back for a single coffee if I happened to be passing, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back there.
Have lived in Melbourne for 13+ years and have never been to auction rooms. Went today. Coffee was awful. Will not be back.
I absolutely understand why there's always a line at this place. The atmosphere is vibrant and the food is delicious. I especially enjoyed the French toast!
When it comes to a coffee, I’m so picky.
They really have the best coffee.
And great food and customer service.
