Kathy, Steve, Dale, Anne, (apologies if forgot others who helped names), all worked as a well oiled machine to make the process of becoming a member and obtaining a loan such a simple straight forward process. I highly, highly recommend the services provided by APS Benefits Group and I doubt you'll be able to find a better deal on Funeral Cover as well. I cannot be happier with the service that we have experienced with our recent loan application. The process was quick and easy and I am very thankful that Dale Engberg was our loans officer, as I found him extremely helpful, friendly and professional to work with. My husband has been a member since the 90's and with his recommendation and Dale's expertise I will also become a member. Thank you again for your assistance.
My husband and I received prompt service, advice on our loan needs, eligiblety and received the loan within 2 weeks, whereas prior to going to APS Benefits Group Ltd we saw our banker which took her 6 weeks to tell us she would give us a reply in a further 2 weeks time.
After subscribing to a funeral insurance policy (which must be done prior to the loan application) I had many hoops to jump through, as expected with a loan application, 4 weeks worth of hoops however was not expected.
Only to be knocked back due to "For every loan assessment we have to add an amount for general living expenses such as food, entertainment and utility bills, which is based on your marital status and the number of dependant children you have. This amount for a couple with nil dependant children is $2,133 per month. "
Note this was after all these items were addressed and would be evident to see with my application that this in no way represented my true living expenses.
Upon calling the Loan Manger to inquire about this I was met with rude short answers which could of been summed up as "No wont hear any thing further with this, we wont help you. "
If I could rate my experience any lower I would. STAY AWAY!
