I have been with APS since 2005. Staff are very helpful and informative and fully understand my needs. I have a small investment with this Society and find the return on investment more than adequate in the current financial climate.

After 20 years of paying funeral benefits my policy is cancelled. These people did not inform me that for some reason the Payment was not going through yet the money was in the account, one which I only used for this purpose and didn't really keep an eye on y bad) and this created a debt. So after 20 years of paying every fortnight I now have no funeral benefits. Shame on them

APS is a fantastic mutual in the heart of Melbourne that provides a range of financial services (they even run a funeral fund). I'm a member!

I have been a member of this organisation for more than two decades, managers and all staff are professionals.

These guys are always so good to deal with. They make you feel part of a family. Wish I didn't have to pay back loan though!

Recently opened an account with APS, and found the online process very easy to navigate. Once details were completed, APS was very quick to respond. I have held a funeral benefit policy for many years with APS, and during this time have always found their staff to be easy to deal with and very friendly. Keep up the good work.

Recently had our personal tax returns completed by Stephen Fry (CPA) remotely for the first time. Short story, my wife and I won't be going anywhere else in future. Stephen is prompt, professional and efficient.

When I became injured and was unable to work for a period of time I was regularly in touch with Heather, who was incredibly empathic, helpful and understanding. Heather repeatedly went above and beyond to help me get through to the point where I was able to fully repay my account. She is a priceless asset to apsbs and I will forever be grateful for all of her assistance throughout the experience.

APS are brilliant - non profit - I know, hard to believe - and there is no catch. Anyone can become a member, do yourself a favor and check them out. The interest rates are far better than banks, for borrowing or savings. I have been a member for years, and love the fact they are so easy to work with.

I joined APSBS in April 1974 and have received all aspects of the services and benefits including low cost loans over many years raising a young family. I have always had the benefit of professional and courteous service across all aspects of available benefits. On attaining the age of 70 years old did not have to pay any more premiums, but still get the annual increase of death benefits through continued bonuses. I am 76 years old now and opting to split my benefits with my spouse which is such a wonderful additional benefit as my spouse joined much later than I, but in the event of my demise we are both confident that our family would not have the financial burden on top of grieving to contend with.
