A busy bakery is an understatement, but it moves fast due to organisation. Fantastic and creative pies. The scallop pie is a must.

LOVE this place so much. The pies, susuage rolls, sandwiches, breads and coffees are amazing. An absolute must for tourists and locals to go get a great feed. The small lobster roll in brioche bun is super good - fresh Aussie lobsters.

All the ladies behind the counter were very welcoming, I was extremely sleep deprived so I was a little slow in ordering but they were patient and kind. Food and coffee were tasty. The passion fruit cake was top notch, not too sweet which is perfect as it doesn't overthrow your taste buds to sugar. Will come here again when down this way.

Stopped by for a post-lunch snack while on the way to the 12 Apostles on a Great Ocean Road Tour. Delicious, hot scallop pie! Tried the curry, which is their recommended/most popular and it was really good. They sell frozen pies for you to take home too!

The sweet chilli sausage roll is the best sausage roll I've ever had! The scallop pie was too fishy for me but the lamb and rosemary pie was incredible!

I have come to this place multiple times just to try their tastey sausage rolls and lamingtons. Located at Apollo Bay central, it's a convenience place to boost your energy if you are travelling.

Just went to this bakery/cafe.pretty upset with the service. Spent 8.50 on a roll then asked for some table water.pretty standard. 'sorry we don't have table water and there is a tap across the road'. Im very obviously pregnant and asked if I could just have in a cup just from the tap.nope.too much to ask for there.even though they were happy to give me table water the day before in a cup.
If I wanted to drink from the street I wouldn't have decided to spend money at a cafe.
Won't go back.pretty disgusted

Very tasty pies with great crust. Filling but not overboard. Had the lamb pie, meat pie and a sausage roll, everyone loved them.

Guys, you really should have to try their scallop pies, both flavors. Their tastes are absolutely treasure experiences. It was recommended by my friend. I was skeptical at first, questioning about how delicious a pie can be? It proved me completely wrong! So delicious, I had a curry flavor and then ate another Mornay one.they made my day!

A small eatery, worth your visit to enjoy the special made pie with lots of varieties! Loved the scallop the pie but the price of $12 is bit high for a pie.
Overall a great pie you should not miss when you visit to Apollo bay.

A small eatery with limited seat inside. However, worth your visit to enjoy the special made pie with lots of varieties! We chose the lamb, beef and scallop pies. Love the lamb pies there most as it is so flavourful. Scallop pie is not too bad either. It is the morning of Saturday whereby the cafe can be quite busy.we resulted sitting outside that can be chilly during winter time. Overall a great pie you should not miss when you visit to Apollo bay.

-They have 1 vegan pasty (ok) and 2 veggie pie/pasty items. Average price $7 each.

-Bread selection is bare no matter what time you go in and expensive. Very basic loaf is $4 and I've seen as high as $8 for half an artisan loaf.

-Bread is also open to anyone to grab and helps to spread germs/COVID. Normally bakery's keep unpackaged items behind the counter and staff handle with gloves, but not here?

-People tend to crowd the counter to see options and don't social distance. Markers on the floor do nothing.

-Not all workers wear masks but they provide sold plastic shields at cashes. Which are hard to talk through and most customers just pop their heads around.

-Paying by card is normal but they often motion for you to 'tap' without showing you the amount on the screen. When you ask to see they get an bit annoyed.

Really enjoyed the scallop pies. There is two sauces you can get the scallop in the white sauce which has a slight mustard taste. And the curry scallop which has small carrots in a curry sauce. Bother the pies are saucy and soupy. A must have in Angelas.

Must try the scallop pie which it’s popular for! Do note the line to the counters are pretty long on weekends and public holidays!

Pies were nice, nothing special, better than Pie Face, was going to try their famous Scallop Pie until I saw the price of $12.95 for one normal size pie, so went for chunky beef and a pepper steak, both for $11.95 total a lot more normally priced. The shop is well set up for speedy service, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Great location being right in the middle of the main street.

Had a chunky beef and Guinness pie which was ok and my wife had a scallop mourney pie which wasn't that great but not too bad. Have had much better in Tassie.

It's a quaint place on the Great Ocean Road at Apollo Bay. Their signature item is scallop pies. Must try! Really! They were really juicy and cheesy and hot. Plus they have a variety of fresh cakes to choose from. Perfect for a morning breakfast.

If you’ve never tried scallop pies then you much visit this Bakery!
We’ve never tried scallop pies before so we decided to buy both the curry & mornay pies as well as the garlic prawn pie and they were all deeelicious! The pastry was flakey, scallops/ prawns juicy and sauces full of flavour. You have to be careful though as it’s quite saucy and drippy.
Oh and their sweets are delicious too - we couldn’t walk away without buying a choc brownie and choc caramel cheesecake slice.
This bakery and its pies came highly recommended by friends and it did not disappoint! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back.
