I have always used Shades in Hawthorn for my shutters, motorised blinds and curtains. I recently had them fit out our new home and as always, the service was exceptional. Everyone is extremely professional and delivery is always on time. The installers are polite and extremely efficient. This is the third home I had fitted by Shades in Hawthorn, and I would never consider using any one else.

We are so happy with our stylish Shades in Hawthorn drapes in our new apartment. Maddy was a wonderful consultant - knowledgeable, problem solving and helpful. Richard was a terrific installer - neat and tidy, and a quiet achiever. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Amazing service quality!

Although I was in such a hurry to get my blinds installed, they managed to attend to my request with due diligence and get the job done in a timely manner.

In addition, when they arrived, they did quite a swift and effective job, which was delightful for sure.

As a quibble, I found the fees a bit expensive, but it still offers a very good value for money, given high quality features with motorised blinds.

Shades supplied timber shutters for three large windows at the front of our house, and bifold doors internally, at a great price. All have been installed and we couldn't be happier with the end result. From start to finish, Shades and their staff have been informative, easy to deal with excellent in their service. I would have no hesitation in recommending Shades.

We had both soft furnishings and shutters installed for our home (and I have already returned to order more shutters for our kitchen area!). The styling (by Maddy) was impeccable and service was excellent! I particularly appreciated the range of fabrics on offer (we went with linen). Price was very reasonable and competitive, and we appreciated advice on how we could reduce some costs. Most importantly, the product quality was excellent, lead time was reasonable, installation was promptly booked in and the guys installing the window furnishing were all punctual, polite and did a great job. There was a small issue - some parts for our roller blinds accidentally went missing on the day of installation - but I was very impressed with how it was handled. I was kept informed via telephone throughout the day and the issue was promptly resolved the following morning (hence, I have not deducted any stars for this). I would highly recommend this company - the products have really added to the finish of our new home.

This is the second time we have used Shades for new blinds and we continue to be impressed with their service, people and products. This time we had four new roller blinds installed, one of them with a battery controlled remote operation. They all fitted perfectly, the colour and style were right and the installation was on time, quick and clean. Our entire experience from looking at the Hawthorn showroom, to the visit and measure by the consultant, to the installation was made easy by their professionalism. We'll be back next time.

They are responsive, deliver on time, are well-priced, and very communicative. The product is flawless, and the quote/deliver/install experience seamless. The installation team, especially Alen, were extremely helpful. When it was discovered that a sliding door needed to be trimmed for fitting the blinds, Alen was able to contact the builders who arranged to be onsite wthiin an hour. As a result the blinds were all fitted in the one day. If Alen had not done this then it would have required a subsequent day to complete the blind installation.
