The installation and delivery was flawless. A very competent crew and electrician. Very happy with the outcome.

One small negative feedback: it took 2 months and a few phone calls from me between the substantial payment of a 50% deposit and the installations date to confirm the later. Proactive update on the status of my order and on the installation date would have been appreciated, as well as a smaller lead time between order and delivery. You were very diligent however when it came to chase the balance due!:)

Hannah, the consultant, had been so lovely to work with. From the 1st showroom visit, the product selection till the installation, she provided so many precious and unique suggestions and she's excellent in communication. This was particularly appreciated when you tried to organize things for your new place while still living interstate. Moreover, SHADES was the only business showing me how many more options you could do around your roller blinds after only hearing "well roller blinds.they are simple and just as they are, not much else! " from all other businesses.

Richard, the installer, was very well-presented and overall just a lovely man to chat with. We were also very impressed with how he always keeps his working area so clean & tidy - he had a pair of shoes specifically for indoor wearing, had blanket under all his tools, handled everything gently and not a single screw or plastic piece left behind after the job is finished! As a client I felt our place was well taken care of by him all the time.

Overall an amazing experience and surely will be back if I ever need more window furnishing!

I have had shutters & recently roller blinds made & installed by Shades. They are professional company, timely, efficient and product is of high standard. Would definitely recommend them & also use them again.

It’s unfortunate to have to do this, but I simply can't recommend SHADES to any customer who wishes to be satisfied with their purchase. This disheartening ordeal has extended over months and still yet to be resolved.

After our initial measure and order, the installers came to discover the shutters to be measured out incorrectly and subsequently left without an apology, mentioning they will be replaced in the future. Two follow ups later we discovered that the replacement shutters had not even been ordered and we’ve been forgotten about. We understand that mistakes happen, but feeling ignored after this does not help.

Months later and still no resolution from their non-existent customer service team of whom we constantly have to reach out to on our own accord. After finally getting someone to book in another fitting of the replacement shutters (which took another two phone calls) I was lied to that someone had already reached out to us to book this in, they had not. We tried to believe the sales team at SHADES were going to resolve the issue in a timely and honest fashion but this just hasn't been the case.

All in all, really surprised to receive such unapologetic and inept customer service when there are so many positive reviews here.

We are more than happy with the blinds and curtains at our apartment. We were also happy with the service and work of Hannah and Alex.
Nothing is perfect in life, but we were more than satisfied.
