Came in yesterday for coffee and to pick up some take away, coffee was good but the pies and sausage rolls were fantastic. Big ups to Jeremy, super friendly and attentive, made us feel right at home. Looking forward to becoming a regular!

Massive shout out to Jeremy, he could not possibly be any more helpful or pleasant! Ordering very last minute cakes via email - he was so unbelievably patient and was able to find a solution to all my requests with expertise and ease. Allan's will definitely be my new Go To bakery from now on!
Is absolutely worth the extra travel time for me.

Love love, love this bakery.
Everything we have had is delicious, tastes homemade and not production made.
My fav. Is their black forest gateau with fresh cream.
Prices are really great too.
Travel out of my way for this newly discovered bakery.

Food is great. Pastry on pies and sausage rolls so amazing and fresh. Great to see fresh makes made in front of you. Cakes and slices are so so yummy. Can get busy and a little wait but it's worth it and goes to show how good this place is.

Pretty nice bakery with good staff. When it gets busy though it's hard for them to keep up with the set up of the registers. It's old school but pretty good.

Good coffee, great baked goods and friendly staff. Fantastic service provided to locals as well, the kind of place that will get to know you by name and know your order to boot.

I went there with my Mum and Emina for morning tea. I had a Skinny Vanilla Milkshake, my Mum had a mochaccino and Emina and a Peppermint Tea. Also we shared a Custard Tart together. The staff were kind to us and the service was quick.

Coffee is OK pastries are OK cakes are too expensive for what they are, nothing really stands out. If you are looking for a moderate experience this is the place for you.

Ordered a birthday cake for an 80th Birthday. Staff could not have been for helpful. Even decorating the cake with flowers I dropped off. The cake looked just beautiful and tasted even better. Would highly recommend. Will definitely buy from Allan’s again

We love Allan's for a cheeky sausage roll, morning tea for playgroup and their little toy corner is ideal for keeping small humans entertained while you grab a coffee!

Well I’m sorry to say our visit to Allan’s today was most underwhelming. Again another bakery I’d seen often come up on Facebook so a quick lunch pit stop meant we got to drop in. Despite looking like the shop has been upgraded recently with a lovely exterior, great amount of seating and fairly busy for a Sunday 12pm, our expectations were increased thinking this could be a great local find!

Unfortunately the young lady whom served us was obviously less than impressed to be serving as we were met with no smile, no warm greeting, no spirit a very somber, unwelcoming lady who expressed the manners & emotion of someone who cared little with our order or to be working.

Now I will apologise in advance for anyone who may know this girl, who I will certainly not be naming or describing because you never know what is going on in someone’s life however as a customer coming in for the first time, her attitude when she spoke to us was bordering on dismissive, rude & almost irritated that we were ordering. Even asking for all the hot items to be put in a box rather than individually bagged was met with the quipped response of “well how many are you buying? ”

For the 3rd time I repeated, 2 mini sausage rolls, 1 large sausage roll, 1 party pie & a Shepard’s pie. We also had ordered a beestring & 2 passion fruit profiteroles. No we had to have bags. Oh and the issue with asking for 2 tomato sauces (we didn’t even have an issue with the 30cent charge it just was what it was)

We felt begrudged to even buy what we did, didn’t bother ordering more or the fresh bread & rolls we planned as my husband was ready to leave without the food due to her service.

Regardless, the sausage roll he enjoyed & it was fairly nice from the small bite I took, my diabetic mother in law could only eat the party pie due to her insulin levels but said it was very nice. My Shepard’s pie was disappointing, the potato hard & chalky - like Deb potato & the mince/ beef was very lack lustre. I would sure I tried a straight up meat pie or the chunky steak as at almost $6 a pop for a speciality pie I took most of the potato off, doused the sauce on the meat and ate enough to get by.

The beating was also not wonderful, thickened Custard, stale bready cake base, I’ve tried but better traditional bee stings so maybe this take on it just fell under. My husband said the passionate profiteroles had great taste & nice pastry.

Very sad but will try them another day but certainly poor service leaves a bad taste in your mouth. We noted it wasn’t only us that was met with the same “welcome” as we saw her serve 2 customers before us with the same expressed attitude.

Good range, little expensive for what the quality is and not making me feel like I want to rush back. Sorry guys!

Wonderful cakes and pies however staff could be more pleasant. Low tolerance of small children from one staff member I particular. Better to get take away.
