So many cakes and sweet stuff and the pies are amazing. See this cauliflower and broccoli pie here? The pastry is nice and light, not tough like so many other bakery pies, and the cauli/broccy is perfectly cooked, still slightly crunchy. Just the way I like it

I really wish you would close your industry bin lid as many native birds are feeding from the mess out the back of the shop and this is contributing to alot of BFD as well as bread being dropped onto Mt Dandenong Rd.
Not a real effort is needed to close the lid and clean the area out the back of the shop, being in the hills, there are lots of native birds in the area and bread can be harmful to their health.

Young man working on Sunday, you are rude and dismissive. Ended up ordering nothing because you ignored my mother even though she was first in line. Disgraceful

It’s a wonderful place for cakes and pastries. I ordered bday cake (custard cream sponge cake) for my wife and it was lovely. Everyone loved the cake, it was soft and very tasty. I couldn’t post a pic of the cake as it has my wife’s name on it. The other pastries are really nice too and some of them are very different to the other bakeries. They have a good varieties of cakes readily available in the store and only for the mud cake it has to be per ordered by a week. I would rate this place very high and would definitely recommend it for cakes.

We've been coming to Allan's for cakes for
about 24 years. Recently Pre ordered some mini sausage rolls and a sponge cake for an afternoon tea. The sausage rolls were really enjoyed and the lamington sponge was as light as a feather and delicious!

We visit here weekly. We absolutely love all the staff. The service is perfect, the coffee is perfect and the treats are amazing!

My favourite bakery in Melbourne ever since I moved here in 2017. I used to work close to Allan's Bakery but I've moved jobs since 2019 and I miss being close to this place. It's just good delicious old fashioned pies, cakes and pastries. Well priced and lovely service. As I don't live close at all (I live an hour away) I like to buy one of their frozen packs of sausage rolls (the best here) to keep at home. Bargain at $18 for 6!

Ordered and got a tasty 8” cake last minute and with writing. No one else in the area could do this. Simply brilliant.

I just purchased 2 mud cakes for my son’s birthday and the customer service I received when ordering and the follow up communication was outstanding. Jeremy went above and beyond to make the cakes perfect right down to the font chosen for the message. It was very thoughtful and I will always recommend Allan’s wherever I can. I also have to mention how delicious these cakes are, if you’re looking for where to buy your next cake for any occasion, head to Allan’s, you will not be disappointed!

I went there with Denise for afternoon tea. I had a Skinny Mug Hot Chocolate and she had an extra hot Skinny Mug Latte. Also I bought 6 Chunky Beef Pies as well. The lady was kind to us because she gave it all to me for $36 instead of $37.20.

Excellent attention to detail and happy to make last minute adjustment’s.
