Amazing customer service and an amazing cake that we got for our sons 1st birthday! Thank you for saving the day as we left it last minute to get a cake!

Always get friendly service and the food is great. My daughter and husband go here for there love of Lime milkshakes. And there mini cupcakes are super delicious.

Yumm Allen's has never let me down. Perfect ration on the shepherds pie, and the cakes are to die for.

I brought them my daughter's very specific birthday cake request and they absolutely nailed it. Cake was gorgeous, delicious and exactly what she wanted. Highly recommend.

One of the better sausage rolls I've had in awhile.

The pastry was next level, it was super flaky and had many layers of lamination. Yes it was oily, but how else do you get it to melt and flake away with each bite?
The sausage was a bit softer than you'd expect in a sausage roll, and it does require a bit more spice. Tomato sauce is required on this one.

The meat pie was pretty darn good too, using the same flaky pastry on the top and a short crust pastry on the bottom. The pie filling was good, with a nicely spiced mince, no lumps of corn flour or gristle to be seen. Tomato sauce is not needed with the pie.

Great pastries and breads, with always friendly staff. The cakes look amazing. Only let down has been inconsistencies with the coffee depending on who makes it, and some of the personal discussions in the background.

Just picked up 12 Melbourne demons cupcakes I pre ordered as a treat for my family on grandfinal day. I was speechless when I saw them for the first time. These look as though they've been decorated by a 2year old. If I had of made them myself I'd be embarrassed. Very disappointing and messy. Go Dee's!

The coffee is perfect, every single time! The service is great. The pies, the bread and the doughnuts are delicious! Love this bakery. Oh, I nearly forgot about the custard tarts, I reckon they are THE best custard tarts I have EVER eaten!

Went twice, great service. Staffs looks stressed and running around, obviously understand busy time, but feels like could have manage something organised.

Friendly helpful staff. Regularly order cakes for family birthdays/occasions and they never let us down, presented beautifully and delicious every time. Bread is fantastic also.

Love their entire range, and they do a beautiful fresh decorated sponge ideal for a birthday or other special occasion. The chocolate mousse sponge is amazing. Super light chocolate sponge with layers of whipped mousse, topped with a chocolate glaze and decorated beautifully. Everyone raved about it.

Good coffee, excellent tasty sausage rolls and really great looking cakes, that I had to resist as they would have added to my lockdown expansion!

I came in about a month ago to pickup a cake I had ordered which had go fund me details printed on the cake that I had organised to surprise my parents with.
The lovely older lady that served me asked about it and I had explained the struggles my family had been facing the past year and she showed great sympathy and appreciation for this. She insisted on giving me various baked goods and a further discount on the cake as her way of helping my family.
This was so generous of her and I haven’t had time to come in to thank her again.
My family were so grateful and all that food got eaten with huge smiles.

I originally gave my 5 star review 2 years ago.and this place is still amazing. If you want a custom cake that not only looks amazing but tastes great, check out this place. Also there freshly cooked pastries and pies are also superb. Find myself dropping in more and more, eeep, I'm getting round!
