Alfa Bakehouse reviews
69This places is fantastic! The customer service is phenomenal and genuine. The beautiful person behind the counter made us feel very welcomed and they were so friendly. The coffees, we love our magics and it was that my wife ordered a second. The big Alfa was what I ordered and it was a massive serving I couldn’t finish it and the beautiful person at the counter came over concerned I didn’t like it, I told her I was just full. They brought offered for us to take it away which was lovely. This is our favourite place from now on In Yarraville and they are constantly busy.
Great location near the station, top outdoor area, best fresh foccacia anywhere, nice staff. Star devalued due to ordinary coffee [I love my coffee] Three and a half actually.
Nice staff, good food, big portions. Nice atmosphere, and the music wasn’t at an unbearably loud volume. Would come back
I am a walking advert for Alpha.it is always a delight to go to this cafe. Lovely food and amazing customer service. I nearly always get take away.but let's be honest the Italians know food.fresh ingredients that are tasty and colourful. The coffee is just right.
My faves are the spinach wraps W fresh Caesar Salad and the toasted Reuben sandwiches. I love to get takeaway and take it to The Sun Theatre and sneak it in?
Very good tasting coffee! I love it! One of the best long black I ever have. Price is very reasonable for $4.50 Medium cup. Staff are very welcoming and polite and they even bring your coffee to your table. Amazing place especially in a lazy morning. Perfect to wake you up!
A beautiful bakery cafe in Yarraville.
In particular, the tables in terrace are so nice location!
You should visit here on a good weather day, and enjoy relaxing time!
Loved the hashbrowns with the benedict. We had both the salmon and bacon versions. Both lovely!
Let's start with customer service. It was fantastic. Then we have my coffee, the most important thing, as a lousy coffee can ruin your day. It was perfect the blend the taste and temperature. If I didn't live in Adelaide, it would be on a daily coffee run. Last the food, dam it was good, tasty and fresh. Keep up the good work; when we come back from Adelaide, we will definitely be dropping past again.
Got a take away coffee, coffee good. Staff pleasant. Lost an item and one of the waiters found it which was very much appreciated.
0/5 TRAIN YOUR STAFF BETTER!
bought a gluten free cake.asked to check if it was gluten free for an allergy and they said yes. NOT GLUTEN FREE and now at home vomiting bc have coeliac disease and body cannot handle gluten.very dissatisfied w staff
The BEST brunch place, delicious food and great customer service. Definitely one of my favourite places in Yarraville.
Ordered the breakfast. Had to add chorizo separately for $5.50. Not worth the addition thought it should have been included on the $25 breakfast. Bacon was burnt but rest was good.
Regular visitor. Great, friendly staff. Lovely coffee and tasty food. Great for the little ones when outside so they can run around.
One of my favourite brunch spots! Smoked salmon benedict on crispy hash browns. Their cappuccinos are also a must try!
My lunch here was really tasty, and the staff were accommodating when it came to sharing food and even brought out an extra plate for us to use. I took a couple of Christmas cupcakes home and I would definitely recommend trying them out, especially the reindeer one!
Gorgeous place to sit and chat over a delicious breakfast under the shade of the trees. Definitely a hidden gem.
Wonderful food and they were super helpful when Uber stuffed up the order (one part of the order was missing). Chris went above and beyond.
Just picked up my food, the server at the counter (young, red hair) was wearing a “chin-strap” mask and scratched her nose while handling my food without sanitising in between. Another person who I gather is the owner from previous reviews (Middle-aged blonde hair) didn’t have her mask anywhere in sight while they were handling food in the pie warmer and cleaning. Without any signage to say some people are exempt from wearing masks here, it looks like completely entitlement to the average customer. I didn’t bother to ask about exemptions because I didn’t want to get too close. Absolute poor form with approx. 300 daily cases today.
We came here after brunch. It's a nice cafe for catching up over afternoon tea/coffee. It is spacious and offers good variety of pastries and cakes. Staff were really friendly and they allowed me to bring my dog in:)
Poor customer service waited 15 minutes and even waved at a waitress who saw me but turned to walk the other way
