Lovely staff, great food, and went out of their way to look after our the gluten free eaters. Would recommend and will continue to enjoy this cafe

Amazing cafe with a very good sitting under the trees as well as inside. Good coffee and wraps. I mostly go here every other weekend after a long walk for a good coffee and wrap.

My go-to sandwich / lunch venue & on nice sunny days the space at the rear is nice * shady with stuff to keep the kiddies busy while you chat.

The pancakes are just cakes from an oven! You can tell from the edges and consistency these weren’t from a pan. I’m sure this place is nice but I’m just ranking the pancakes, don’t get them from here lol so disappointed: (

Basically found a car spot and fell into this cafe. And we were not disappointed!
Very busy and lots of people coming in for takeaway.
We got a table and ordered, we had the warm breaky bowl for her and the chilli scramble for myself. Coffee was good, but could have been a bit hotter.
The D had her usual chai latte and it was hot! Happy!
Her breaky bowl was large and full of flavour. My chilli scramble was generous in size and also had great flavour.
Overall a pleasant experience!
Place is very popular with families and elderly.
And if you want to sit outside under the tree canopy, you can.

We had our earlier family Christmas lunch out the back under the trees. The service was great, very quick to bring out our order. The food was fresh and delicious.

Excellent service at Alfa. I was silly and knocked my coffee over and they replaced it free of charge. Both coffees were delicious by the way!

Delicious food with a wide variett of choices. Gluten free options available. Plenty of room outdoors.

I ordered uber eats from here asking for no bacon as a dietary requirement. I even paid extra for add ons. It was delivered with a big handful of bacon. The whole meal is now spoiled and I couldn't eat a single bit of it as everything was touching the bacon. I paid about $40 for this breakfast. I am not happy at all.

Ordered carrot cake, delivered straight away, nice. Coffee, 10 minute wait until I said something. Not good, no apology either, not good

I had a pancake which was mouth watering. I couldn’t stop my self to eat it all, it was very delicious. I reckon that this is the best pancake i ever had.

Having been a customer for years, I was very disappointed today. The side order of mushrooms were inedible, they were stone cold & like rubber……obviously precooked & straight from the fridge, ugh!
My friend’s side order of avocado was again cold from the fridge, mashed & discoloured with brown bits through it, very unappealing. When I returned my meal, the manager almost sneered at me & didn’t seem to understand why I had lost my appetite, questioning why I didn’t want to just eat the eggs & bacon before refunding the cost of the dish!
Good coffee but otherwise we won’t be returning, time to choose a new ‘go to’ local brunch spot….

Alfa bake house Yarraville is a beautiful place for breakfast and lunch. I had mixed berry pancake which was stunning in looking and mouthwatering. I couldn’t stop my self to eat that all. I recommend to all mates to visit fabulous place Alfa bakehouse and try their tasty cuisine. ️️

Great place. The food is amazing as well as the coffee. Everything comes fast and the prices are reasonable. My partner and I have a new favourite cafe.

Nice place and atmosphere. Food is good but it is ridiculously overpriced. I would go back but I won’t because I can’t justify almost $70 for a burger, salad and egg on toast. Was either 2 or 3 stars but I went 3 because it isn’t the fault of their staff for the crazy pricing.

Over priced, average service. You’ll get the same food at a truck stop in the middle of nowhere

Quite a nice setup. We sat outside which was quite beautiful, the leaves falling around us. The live music was a nice touch.
Ordering at the table via a QR code, which I don’t mind when it works. We ordered, error, you might have been charged but your order didn’t go through. Following worry and annoyance, ordered inside. Done. Okay southern fried chicken burger - Chilli fried chicken, apple slaw, sriracha mayo on a milk bun served with chips. The burger arrives, no coleslaw. Apparently it’s changed. They did offer to exchange it for something else. I wanted what I ordered and there wasn’t anything even close. Ate it anyway. It was okay. A bit spicy. Coleslaw would have gone nicely with it. Damn.
Right near the train station. Plenty of space.
