They were incredible helpful, patient and understanding and went out of their way to ensure we had the best experience possible. Purchased a brand new LDV T60 Max mega tub off Robin. Thankfully the car has been great.
Robin was inexperienced and I was super patient & understanding as I know everyone starts out the way. Robin stated that I would have the vehicle in 3 weeks as it was already at the docks, the vehicle took 7 weeks which again I was patient and understanding with.
After signing the contract Robin was a nightmare to deal with. I asked five times for a service schedule and some pricing on servicing, Robin never got back to me and I ended up having to go into Sunbury LDV to get my hands on this information.
The thing that topped it off was Robin gave me his word that he would include Mats for the car & a tank of fuel. Robin was on holidays when the car was picked up and I had to deal with his boss Steve. Steve told me the mats and fuel were not included but if Robin gave you his word he would include them. He called Robin and Robin denied the fact that he had told me mats and fuel were included. Steve wouldn't include the Mats & came across extremely rude.
I have never had such an awful experience purchasing a car. If I could give them 0 stars I would.
Took my new car there for its 2nd service which is a capped @ $299 This place is the worst.they made out like my car was about to fall apart if I didn't pay for all these unnecessary extras so they could make money. Ladies I'd suggest you don't go to this dealership as they will try to rip you off. Or if you have to, take someone with you. As soon as my husband showed up they changed their tone about what really needed to be fixed on my car.

Very inexperienced
I actually feel sorry for the people that actually go here and pay money for nothing when it wasn't the problem. I'm surprised they haven't said to people you're car doesn't work because you have flat tyres and starter motors cause fuse outage.
Highly not recommended
Yep I am rating this a 1 as the manger has not returned my call various times. The service manager was great and put to is boss. I have proof of 5 years warranty and 5 years road side assistance. Well I had to take out RACV this year cause road side assistance said it expired. What a drama last year. So not happy with the service. They know I have a valid claim and they are not doing anything about it. Not even ringing me or emailing me. They just hope I go away.
Very friendly servicing team, well priced, car is washed for you and good quality. I drive an extra 30 mins to Melton Holden as I have used my local Holden service centre but I didn't like them.

Purchased a cheap run around and Steve was a pleasure to deal with. The office staff were polite and friendly and they all did a great job of making sure my purchase went smoothly and kept me informed of any updates. Good old fashioned service thank you.
My daughter brought her 1st car from here Tayla Robertson treated Jacinta with the utmost respect. Tayla really made it nice for Jacinta flowers, new mats, big bow, Jacinta loved it.

Had my ldv serviced there definitely overpriced considering I supplied my own oil they changed the spark plugs when it wasn't necessary probably won't go back
I don’t think I’d go anywhere else for my service or next car purchase. All round great experience on both occasions. Staff are courteous and understanding, with prices being reasonable. Offered loan car during service without charge and no fuss whatsoever.
Since posting, news on Holden name being discontinued has arrived. Team, I’ll be back if you’re GM brand or another brand. The people make the place, not the brand.

Honest people, unlike most dealerships they don't hype the situation to push you into buying. I want to commend Drew for being thoughtful and visibly customer centric despite being a new starter in the sales game.
I own a Opel Astra and after only doing 88000 kms the transmission needed replacing. The team at Alan Mance were amazing and through the Holden goodwill program arranged for my transmission to be replaced, free of charge.
I can't thank them enough. The staff were amazing and I highly recommend this service centre.
I've purchased parts from this store before and they've been all good. This time I purchased a starter motor which I was told was 'brand new and unused'. Take a look at the pictures and what do you think? Do those bolt holes look like they've never had a bolt through them? How about that red paint (probably from a workshop bench) and the scratched black paint?
Friendly, reliable service. Always welcomed with a smile and the complimentary car wash is a bonus.
On Wednesday 26 November, after an earlier phone conversation with there Service Department Consultant, I took my daughters 2016 Holden Captiva in for assessment and verification of a Drive Chain failure.
“Background”
The vehicle had only done 63,000 kms, been serviced regularly, except for one occasion, its CPS at 60,000 kms was missed as my daughter had lost her job and being a struggling single mother did not have enough money to cover the cost of the service. Short version, the car was serviced at 63,000 kms but outside of the allocated time for the service to be conducted.
Shortly thereafter the Drive Chain went critical.
“The Story”
On delivering the Vehicle to the Alan Mance Service Department, we were attended to by Tamara. She informed us of the three options, one of which was, upon confirmation that that Drive Chain was faulty, to apply to Holden for the issue to be handled as a Warranty repair. Failing that being successful the second option was to try to have the repair covered by my Daughters Extended Premium Warranty with the TWG. The third and final option failing any success with the first two, was to pay the repair cost ourself. Costs of $2800, money my Daughter just did not have.
This has been a tough year for her, coming out of an abusive relationship and having a 5 year old with epilepsy.
The prospect of having to find nearly $3000 hit her hard and she was in danger of falling apart.
“Customer Service”
This is where Tamara comes into the story. I know now that she went the extra yard in her approach to Holden and I have no hesitation in saying that without her efforts the outcome to this story would have been a whole lot different.
I don’t know what specifically she said in her application to Holden, but whatever she wrote, from either the Dealer or Client perspective, it convinced the powers that be at Holden that this was a genuine case that warranted being picked up as a Warranty repair.
“Above and Beyond”
Let me say this to the Foreman of the Service Department and the Management of Alan Mance Holden. Your consultant Tamara is a credit to your Organisation, she provided Outstanding Customer Service and in so doing went Above and Beyond that which could be expected.
Our heartfelt thanks and our gratitude to her and to all others involved in the process.
I have had previous dealings with Alan Mance and this just further cements my opinion that this Dealership is without doubt the Premium Holden Dealer in Victoria.
Would I recommend Alan Mance Holden. Yes, without any hesitation.
Would I consider them for my next vehicle. Yes, again without any hesitation.
