64I left the Holden car I have for service and two days later after the service the car had a severe breakdown. The car was about to burn and smoke covered inside the car. RSA towed the car to the service again and I was told a faulty oil filter was installed during the service. But nobody took responsibility compensate time and money I spent. Lack of professionalism.
This dealership gets 5 stars plus because its one of the only dealerships where you get to see and talk to the owners as if they are one of the service advisers or sales people and you don't get treated like $$$ you get treated like a person
Ordered a new HSV SportsCat from Alan Mance.
Whilst the sales man is a gentleman and he knows their products well. I have to say very disappointed with their post sales customer support. Just terrible.
Prior to the sale, they took care of things which changing the stickers etc.
Post sales the Car came with a dent on the door, and a TPMS warning, which they did fix so that was good so happy with that.
Issue: However they damaged the nice AP Racing Calipers when they swapped the wheels as part of the purchase and the sales man tried to flip it off as a stone chip from just driving home 10kms way.
I'm sorry I've done years of automotive painting and that chip on a powder coated caliper was caused when they swapped the wheels they have hit the edge of the caliper and damaged it in doing do.
Instead of swapping the caliper from one of their demo cars they decided as the sales man said no, which I find very wrong to say no to a customer especially when they have caused the damaged, they opted to have it repaired.
The repair job was terrible and the car now has an ABS fault which I have to go back again to fix.
There was also missing parts for the loop plug for the rear tonne lid and also the hard lid has missing paint and has been tried to be touched up.
There are other things with build quality with the car but honestly I cannot be bothered with this dealership anymore as they just don’t want to hear from you post sales even if there has been damage caused by them on a new car.
From initial contact, delivery and first service the experience has been first class. Anthony in sales and Nick in service went out of their way to make my experience welcoming, friendly and exceptional. I highly recommend Alan Mance Holden and look forward to my next visit. Well done guys.
No drama, my car is under warranty so they got it fixed. No wishy-washy. Will recommend to every one.

It’s been four months when I booked the service. On the day of service I provided them with a letter from Holden that I will receive two movie tickets if booked service during certain dates. I called eight times after that but still waiting for tickets. Disappointed with such customer service.
Recently bought a car from Alan Mance Footscray. Impeccable customer service, Peter was an awesome bloke and got me a great deal on a better car that I was original going to look at. 10/10 and will be going back in years to come when I need a new car again. Cheers Peter loving the SV6

Sorry to say. I had a very bad experience after serving. But showroom is good and they have good collection.
My car is broken down 3rd time in 2 months useless mechanics they are ripping me off at first place I was told my coil pack is faulty and after 20 days it was again broken down they advised this time thermostat is faulty and now my car is broken down again they said we have to change ECU and throttle body nearly spent $3000 in 3 months got all the receipts not sure whom to trust so frustrated.
I went to buy a used car and had good experience there.
The price was fair, customer service was great, the car was clean and I've not found any issue with it yet.

Service dept here is always busy and you have to wait.especially when collecting your car but the people are always friendly and helpful when they get to you.they always seem short staffed
