Airlie Women's Clinic - Malvern

The Clinic provides me with Professional and very caring service together with helpful health advice

I swapped to Airlie Women's Clinic because I wanted to ensure I was getting advice from practitioners that really understand women's health. I have seen a number of practitioners in that time (my choice, you can book with a specific person if preferred) and every one of them have been amazing. My LGBTQI non binary child also attends the clinic and has felt completely comfortable. Would absolutely recommend them.

So incredibly expensive for routine appointments like script repeats/referrals. Ie, appt for a repeat script (no extra consult required) and a referral - $250 for a 15 min appt. There are far better women’s health care practices at a fraction of the price with similar/better services I have since found.

The doctors are always knowledgeable and compassionate. I’m so glad I’ve moved back Southside so I can return to Airlie.

I saw Dr. Josie C as a new patient to a clinic for a women's health concern. She was very friendly and articulate, explained things well. She did the cervical screen test collection for me and we talked briefly about PCOS. She gave good advice and a plan on what to do depending on the several possible outcomes of the test results. I explained my concerns with having a previous GP pushed me to take contraceptive pills for PCOS, Dr. Josie was very respectful of my choice and explanation why I choose not to continue contraceptive pills - this is very rare in GPs (in my experience) when talking about PCOS. Overall positive first time experience so far. Reception staff was nice and prompt. Clean waiting room.
The only downside is Malvern road is super busy but thats not really something the clinic can do about so if you need to go to them for an appointment, take Malvern road traffic into account and plan in time.

Doctor accurately diagnosed and fully explained the details. No wait time - very efficient and professional.

I booked to get flu shots for the family. The woman behind the counter and the GP were all lovely, but I was charged for four 15 minute consultations amounting to over $600, when the entire affair only took less than 15 minutes. In this climate where government funding of GPs is under the spotlight, I find it unconscionable that this clinic is charging customers for effectively 1 hours' worth of consultation, as well as getting the Medicare subsidy for 1 hours' worth of consultation, while only spending 15 minutes consulting.

Dr Maeve O Donnell is by far one of the best GP's I have ever seen. My four month old has always been assessed as a "thriving baby", however I knew in my gut something wasn't right. Dr O'Donnell listened to me with care and empathy, and took my concerns seriously. She provided me with a plan that actually worked and continues to check in with me and track progress. I feel she genuinely cares for me and my baby. If there were more stars I would give them to her because she has far exceeds all of my expectations.

Very disappointed with Dr Berger at Airlie Women's clinic. Not only did she describe incorrectly my prescription but I was waiting for an hour listening to her on the phone chasing up other patients needs. Very disrespectful and shows complete lack of care for others. Will not be returning to the clinic ever again.

Very happy to have moved on and never went back, after shocking and unprofessional treatment by Drs and receptionists. It's all commercial and please note the positive reviews don't tell the whole story.

I am extremely disappointed in the service I received at Airlie Women's Clinic Malvern. Following a first appointment with my doctor, I was told that a referral for a time sensitive medical issue had been sent for which there would be a 6 month wait. At the 3 month mark, I called to check the status of the wait list only to find that the specialist centre had not received a referral for me. I called Airlie Women's Clinic Malvern and they told me they would resend it. A week later I followed up only to find the specialist centre still had not received the referral. The outcome of another follow up call to Airlie Women's Clinic was a request that I share the email address for the specialist centre and that they would resend it for a third time. There was no reassurance about further follow up or that they would provide evidence of this occurring. Needless to say I am appalled at the level of service and will not be returning. I strongly do not recommend this clinic.

I highly recommend Airlie Women's Clinic - Malvern as this was my first time to go, the Dr was on time with the appointment and she listened to what has been happening and looked at ways to get me back to health. I have not felt listened to for as long as I can remember when seeing a Dr. Thank you

Very friendly practice. Easy to park outside and my appointment was on time. From now on I will be making Airlie Women’s Clinic my preferred Medical clinic.

I have been going to Airlie Women’s Clinic for 2 years now. I have seen a few different physicians at the different locations, most frequently seeing Dr. Julie Cohen, and I always receive the best possible care. The staff and Doctors at the clinic are always very warm and take the time to listen to all of my concerns.

I am very unhappy with the service provided at this clinic. Poor health advice, dismissive and possibly even incompetent, extremely expensive and left my daughter in tears at the end of the last consult (and she is not a girl who cries often). And as others have said the reception staff are unhelpful.

As a medical practitioner I am always interested in how other medical practices run.
It was easy to make a booking, the clinic ran on time and most importantly my doctor Megan Byrne was well informed and helpful.
It is a busy clinic, but they still manage to make you feel welcome and important.

Incredible clinic with wonderful staff. I felt so comfortable and supported in my consult and I very much look forward to my next one. Thorough and very knowledgable, I could not recommend Arlie Women's Clinic more.
