The food here was among the best I’ve ever had. The service was 10/10, will definitely be back again.

Amazing authentic Afghan food here- what an absolute gem of a place. Generous servings and dishes with incredible flavour- must try are the bread (super fluffy yet crispy) and Mantu (beef dumplings). Highly recommend coming here, you won’t be disappointed.

The food here is amazing. It takes time but that's because they're putting quality over getting it out the door.

Satisfyingly delicious simple hearty good food, that are reasonably priced. Chicken and lamb skewers with huge Afghan breads. Pizzas with generous toppings which the kids enjoyed! The chicken korma was nice and not spicy for kids. There's grilled fish (tilapia) and fish/chips options. On menu there's Barramundi fuelled fish option but make sure they have it. Weber asked for Barramundi but received a tilapia instead - ok for fish lovers who don't mind any sort of fish as it's perfectly grilled but not, when you have specific taste to eating fish.

The best Kebabs you can buy this side of Melbourne west. And the Afghan Special pizza is to die for. So nice and Yummy. Even the kids would love it. Great prices too.

This taste of the food served in this restaurant is always constant. It's always tasty and well portioned.

Had the lamb curry with bread for $16. The bread was huge and very good texture. The curry was creamy and good to go with the bread. The salad that comes with it felt a little out of place and insufficient.

Great food, reasonable prices and once we forgot to pay for drinks and came back to pay and they told us not to worry about it. Really recommend it!

This was my Second time having and been to Afghan cuisine, we were so amazed by the quality and quantity of the food brought in to have when ordered last weeks evening.
Not to mention the great service and well-maintained interior and friendly and skillful staff. I noticed the fully loaded pizzas when they were made and we will definitely come here every now and then and give everything on the menu a try.

The quality of food is so good. Perfect place to eat with friends and family. Clean and tidy place with plenty of room to dine in.

Since my last review, this place has improved a lot. The pizza are better, but the kebabs haven't been good. The stuff are friendly and the place is more better during the virus lockdowns.

Kebab and chicken smelt like it was off. Lettuce was dirty and not washed. Tomato was very soggy. Chips had soo much oil my cholesterol went through the roof. Barely any drinks in the rusted fridge. Waited very long for my order this is unacceptable. Will not be back.

Had better Kebabs. I don't think I will buy from there again. Sorry Afghan Star you need to do better.

Don’t trust them) One young man gave me burnt bread (ruti) and wrapped with paper, today 29/9/21, when got home and opened it found it, ridiculous service

Bad customer service. I legit asked them for a jug of water for my food and they told me they couldn’t serve me WATER because of “Covid restrictions”. So they can serve me my food but not water? ! Even worse, the guy at the counter asked me to buy a bottle of water instead. I dunno about you but sounds like a sketchy business. Tryna rip me off. Beware if you dine here.
